Purple Lamborghini Diablo goin' east on I-470 towards Bellaire. Surprised the hell outta me, I didn't think I would see a Diablo -or an Esprit for that matter- around this area..guess I'm wrong.

An absolutely AWESOME black on red '69 Camaro Z28 in mint condition. Was parked in a garage at an auto shop/dealer I delivered to the other day. Custom Cragar wheels looked sick on it. Turns out the guy wanted them to strip out the motor and rebuild it -I'm guessing it was a 350- but the body was as straight and clean as an arrow, almost like it just came from the factory. I told myself I'm gonna have to start carrying a freakin' camera with me on my runs, because if I run into more beautiful machines like that Camaro, I'm going to definitely get a shot or two. After I finish spazzing out and wipe the idiot grin off my face, hah.

I saw an "S550" stretch limo. Pretty sure it was a Lincoln stretch limo or something S-class an front and rear. It's a/c-pillars looked nothing like an S-class, it had tiny brakes and cheap looking chrome wheels.

A rat rod..but not just any rat rod. Again, I saw this on one of my runs today to a local dealer/garage. But this one struck me in a way I cannot describe. Flat black, chopped, channeled, shaved, with a raked grille, old school salt lake wheels, period correct tires, and a nice, dirty V8. I had to take a minute or two to look it over. This was about as awesome as awesome gets. This isn't the first time this garage has had a sweet hot rod in it's garage. A few months ago it had a beautiful, orange '50 Merc hotrod in mint condition. I'm gonna have to see what I can do about scoring more trips to this place, now that I have batteries for my camera.

Doesn't really sound like a rat rod, but it sounds pretty good. It takes a lot for me to get excited over hot/rat rods, muscle cars (like the Camaro you mentioned) simply because I've seen SOOOOO many of them. Still, cool to have a job where you run into stuff like that. My increasing photography career has led me to see and spend a good amount of time around some really nice stuff.
