+1 for Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. One of my all time favourites.
I care much more about racing than I care about cars.
I care more about the mechanics and engines and shit than cars. That said, they still mean a fair amount to me.
I used to be really hyped up on cars but then I turned 17.
cars to me right now are neat things that take me to places that are pretty far away
when i'm on my bike they're things to fear/stay away from
i like them.
i don't really care about numbers/stats or anything like that.
i don't own anything decent. nor do i have asspirations of modifying it.
that being said when i purchase another car its not going to be some fUcken blandy mcblanderson mobile either.
when i was young i liked everything but now my taste as evolved and there's only a handful of cars/companies that get my attention.
whilst i'm not a 'cars yewww 0-100 audis are so kewl bro' either am i 'oh i grew out of them hohoho bro' either.
i just like them.
seriously though, driving a rwd v8 is pretty awesome, I enjoy every moment of it, especially now that all the snow is gone.
i grew out of them hohoho bro
I've been into cars as long as I remember, since playing with Matchbox and Hotwheels Countachs and stuff as a kid, but I'm pretty much interested in anything mechanical. I just generally appreciate engineering, and cars are an everyday example of it. Aside from the technical aspects of cars, I appreciate the aesthetics as well, the styling, the sounds they make, how they smell. They appeal to me both technically and artistically.
Having said that, cars don't mean much to me on a daily basis, I live in a city that's pretty well covered by public transportation, and cars are most useful for taking trips out of the city, rather than getting around on a day to day basis, so my friends and I tend to rent them. Although there is currently a 1974 BMW 2002 project car in the mix.
I was definitely more excited by cars when I was younger than I am now, I think a lot of that had to do with actually knowing less about them, so there was more mystery and "magic" to them, that doesn't really exist anymore after you've rebuilt transmissions, changed the shoes on rusted out drum brakes... etc, and generally seen the annoying side of being around cars.
Regardless, supercars and classic cars still excite me. Most of the regular cars being produced today don't, and I hate the SUV craze.
i really like them.
Theyre an engineering mind ****, but still something you can do at home with some skillz, art, fun, exhilarating, pleasing to the senses, and just generally pretty awesome.
alot. they're my living and my passion.
Always loved them, always will.
this shitty old Countach diecast model did it for me
haha, I have way to many Countach/Diablo toys
nvr owned 1 lol

According to my mum, my first word was "car"
So yeah, i've been into cars for a long time. Not quite as crazy about them as i was when i was a teenager but i still love reading about whatever is new. Every now and then i'll go for a drive just for the hell of it. And if we're going out somewhere where i can drink and its a nice drive, i'll actually rather drive than drink.
My priorities have changed lately though, and i don't want to spend thousands modifying my car. I still would like to own a fairly decent car, and i dont think i could handle having a people mover or a bland camry or something, but i dont have plans to save up and buy a porsche or anything.
you turned 17 and...?
Without cars around, I would'nt have a job.
