its great they are giving a tribute car to dale but i think this is a pretty ugly car (MY OPINION). i think dale should be remembered with a better chevy like a vette or camaro not this but whatever chey does its their decision not mine so i cant control what they tribute him with.

I love Jennifer!!!!!!!!

in memory? notice its a 98 and dale earnhardt died in 00 or 01
12. Re: What does this intimidate?

Yes, I agree, Nascar is lame. I don't even see why you could be so bad a driver that you crash on a circular circuit. Of course it wasn't Earnhart's fault, but still now!! Oh yeah, this car intimidates both the Kia Rio and the Hyudai Accent! So there!

Pretty much.
14. Re: What does this intimidate?

Earnhart is turning over in his grave over this thing. If it was RWD it could be passable, but FWD come on.

Earnhart, pardon the pun, wouldn't get caught dead in public with this thing.

Simply a bad car.

15. Re: What does this intimidate?

Hey you #$%#ing people need to show some respect to Dale Earnhardt... carkid9 you are neering the front of the pack of one of the most ignorant people i know...it was just a concept back in 1998 but after his death in 2001 it was put into production for only one year...thats why its in memory of Mr. Earnhardt.... unlike boxr4 i bet good old dale would be cruzin around in this car i mean really he was the one who designed it and JR(Dale Earnhardt JR) has 1 i would take this car in a second
16. Re: What does this intimidate?

It's called the Intimidator Concept because it was named after the NASCAR racecar driver Dale Earnhardt, whose nick name was "The Intimidator".
17. Re: What does this intimidate?

well thats nice, but Earnhardt sure doesn't intimidate me, he's dead.
18. Re: What does this intimidate?

you ignorant boob...Dale Earnhardt Sr., when he was racing was known as the Intimidator because of his hard-charging knock you outta the way racing style which won him 7 NASCAR Championships,(1980, 1986-1987, 1990-1991 1993-1994) rookie of the year in 1979, and the respect of hundreds of fans...The Man In Black is forever the man, the best NASCAR driver ever...arguably better than The King Richard Petty himself, who also won 7 NASCAR Championships...this car is a wonderful tribute to him..may he rest in peace..#3 Forever!!
19. Re: What does this intimidate?

and YOU are bout as ignorant as they come when it comes to racing legends such as Dale Earnhardt..Dale died on the last lap of the 2001 Daytona 500 while protecting the lead of his son, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and his friend and teammate, Michael Waltrip who went on to win his first of two 500's that year, though a bittersweet victory..I consider this a fitting tribute, just like the Dale Earnhardt Highway in North Carolina which leads to his home town of Kannapolis..grow a brain and learn to understand and respect racing legends like Earnhardt and his contributions to the sport of NASCAR Stock Car Racing...
20. Re: What does this intimidate?

NOTHING!?!! this is a tribute to The Intimidator..read my posts above this one, and then come back and tell me this is just a cheap Monte Carlo...I bet your car is just a cheap little Civic with a body kit, fart pipe and a bottle right? this MC could whoop it's ass easily..too may ignorant people on this board that do not understand real racing legends...pity.
21. Re: What does this intimidate?

*SIGH* read my last 3 posts above this one, then educate yourself, dood...I am sure back when Dale was racing he could have intimidated you and whooped your ass, so I suggest educating yourself on racing legends such as Earnhardt and maybe you will have a new respect for the racing legends.
22. Re: What does this intimidate?

I hope in reality you're not so ignorant.

You speak of "real racing legends" yet I haven't seen one word about REAL racing legends come from you, just a bunch of juvenile BS about a car that's quite overrated.
23. Re: What does this intimidate?

I hope you aren't so ignorant either for being a supercar guru...Earnhardt was and is a real racing legend, right up there with names like Jackie Stewart, Jacky Ickyx, Juan Manuel Fangio, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Ray Haroon (who won the first Indianapolis 500 back in 1911), Mario Andretti, Aldo Andretti, Anthony Joseph Foyt Jr., Al Unser Sr., Rick Mears, Michael Andretti, Geoff Brabham, Roger Penske, Jim Hall, Sam Posey, Lee Petty, Fireball Roberts, Freddy Lorenzen, Ralph Earnhardt, Coo Coo Marlin, Cale Yarborough, Junior Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Richard Petty, Bill Elliott, Buddy Baker, Jeff Gordon, Wally Parks, Shirley Muldowney, Kenny Bernstein(the first to 300MPH), Joe Amato, John Force, Jeg Coughlin, Angelle Savoie, Boris Said, Ron Fellows, Andy Pilgrim, Craig Breedlove, Alain McNish, Derek Daly...shall I go on?
24. Re: What does this intimidate?

Hate to break it to you, but you're the only one being ignorant, go anywhere in the world other than North America and mention Michael Schumacher, and you'll get into an interesting conversation, mention Dale Earnhardt, and they'll just scratch their head and look at you in confusion. A legend is world renowned for their ability, not just on one continent.

At any rate, when I said that I hope you're not so ignorant, I wasn't referring to what you said about Dale Earnhardt, I was referring to your ignorant and hasty conclusion that GTO66's "car is just a cheap little Civic with a body kit, fart pipe and a bottle", you don't seem to realize that REAL racers use Civic's in REAL racing events, and do quite well. You also said "this MC could whoop it's ass easily..too may ignorant people on this board that do not understand real racing legends...pity" yet if you look at performance tests, the Civic is clearly faster than this, it also makes a considerably better race car, so before calling people ignorant, take a look at yourself and make sure you're not doing the same.

Anyway, there are Moderators, and members here who have 10,000+ posts, yet some of them are very ignorant as well, so who are you to say that a "Supercar Guru" can't be ignorant?

NAWSKAR is an obsolete motorsport in the eyes of anyone other than those who live in North America (I'd like to say in just the US, but unfortunately we have our rednecks here in Canada too). There's little action, a simple track that even the worst drivers could drive at speeds exceeding the average American speedlimit, little exceptional ability required. So stop raving about how he's such a NASCAR racing legend, nobody cares.
25. Re: What does this intimidate?

in response to the last post about nascar being obsolete, hell yeah. And if you want to read something funny, check out Car and Driver's interview with Jack Roush and read the questions about Nascar, its pretty funny. He basically rips on his own sport, I think you'll find it an enjoyable read.
