What the hell happened to ticket prices?!

  1. I was just on ticketmaster.com looking for tickets to go see Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage in NYC, not only are they sold out, but tickets elsewhere are going for no less than $130. WHAT GIVES!? I saw both last year and tickets costed $40 with all the handling fees. Not only that, but GWAR tickets for Viva La Bands were $50, $60 with handling fees. What the fark?

  2. I saw Ween for $25. Best concert value.

  3. You couldn't pay me $130 to see those bands.

  4. NYC has gotten really expensive in the past few years, and commands a huge premium.

  5. ticketmaster.com is what happened to ticket prices

  6. I don't think anyone understands your avatar.

  7. Except that I saw Aerosmith for $35 two months ago. Exponentially better band, therefore exponentially better value. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

I hope this weekend is better than last, no way that M is ever going there.

  9. It's great how you can lose one game and drop right off the top 5

  10. I'm sorry for your loss. Our seasons have both been ruined. Hold me?

  11. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A> yes pls

  12. yeah man. It's the raddest ride ever if you make it, but horrible if you dont. Like sprinting through a minefield.

  13. That price is about right for hearing the same song replayed for an hour. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  14. The lesson is, if you're going to lose, do it early in the season.

  15. Haha, it was surprisingly a pretty good show. I went in expecting to hear bullshit like Jaded, Dude Looks like a lady, Armegeddon song and other overproduced shit from the 80s and 90s and while they did play "cryin'" (yuck) everything else was #$%#ing bomb.

For the smith fans, they played Last Child, Rats in the cellar, Train Kept a Rolling, Walkin' the Dog, Dream On, Walk this way...etc

Steven Tyler was amazing and Joe Perry was drunk and sucked quiet a bit.

  16. I live in Waterloo Ontario and even I know what its about. Half this site is American college students.

  17. You know, atleast you weren't attending the game where your team blew their title chances. I saw Cal lose to Oregon State <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  18. Airplane tickets too. I just did a search for flights from LA to Paris next summer, cheapest thing is over $1300 for the roundtrip, 1800 for non stop. If you're coming from Paris to LA on the same dates you can get the roundtrip for 603 euros, 813 for non stop...this sucks!

  19. lol, at bands.

  20.
  21. Haha, totally wrong.

  22. Seeing one of their shows must be like seeing 18000 different bands play in one night. I don't think I've ever heard Ween do an album where they even sound remotely familiar compared to the last one.

Edit: Also on the 30th of this month I'm seeing:

    Masta Ace
    Z-Trip
    Jungle Brothers
    Wordsworth
    Soup of Jurassic 5
    Swollen Members
    Flo Fader
    + local acts/dj's

$70 including booking fee. Not bad for 7 internationals.

  23. Amon Amarth: $15. Boosh.

  24. Haha, I saw Children of Bodom, Lamb of God, and Fear Factory for 23$.

    Dragonforce for 18$

  25. Who the hell are they? Bare in mind there are 7 different INTERNATIONAL acts at the show I'm going too.
