12 Sleeman India Pale Ale 6 McAuslan St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout 6 Mill Street Tankhouse Ale Seriously, aside from the Unibroue empire, I think these are some of the 3 finest beers available in Canada.

I'll tell you something here. Pay attention. We all know that light spoils beer. And we all know that tinted glass protects beer. Unfortunately, in the name of fanciness, many imported beers come in clear or green bottles. This allows for more light absorbtion in the beer. This = stinkey beer. Especially considering the beer was shipped over on a boat voyage that took several weeks. I did a taste test with Pilsner Urquell, I bought the green bottle, and I bought some cans. Hands down the canned beer, which received no light whatsoever in comparison to the bottled beer, tasted fresher, and more true to the PU I had when I was in Prauge. It's only logical that beer coming from far distances would keep better in a sealed can than in a bottle, even better than a brown bottle. So I've switched my priority when it comes to the imported beers. Cans all the way.
I know all of this. I'm not a layman in the beer world. Maybe I'm just more sensative to the tin taste.
