It's a Swedish car made by a man named Christian Von Koenigsegg. Von Koenigsegg had the dream of making the perfect supercar, and it's not too soon to say that he's there!!!

I love the car but still, Christian Von Koenigsegg's purpose was to beate the McLarean F1 with this car.
I don like the McLarean much and I like the CC a lot... but I must say, its purpose will remain unfilled.

As Koenigsegg CC said it is from Sweden and it was supposed to knock off the Mclaren F1 as the reigning supercar but as far as i know it still hasnt succedded

If all factors are considered, this car does beat the F1. It has equal (if not better) acceleration with a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds. It has a higher top speed of 390 km/hour and best of all it's 1/3 the price of an F1. In a couple months when this work of art is tested officially, it will worthy of being an elite supercar. If you think about it, the CC has similar (if not better) performance than the F1 at a far cheaper price tag; so how is the F1 more superior?

Koenigsegg is from Sweden.
koenigs are very good as McLarens, but for the material of the truck to be lighter and cheaper, it final price is much smaller than the one of F1 that costs US$ 1,000,000

u MUST BE SO stupid to even think about that this car handles better then a F1 mclaren omg.....man many morons around here

Everyone already cleared up where this car is from, but shutup swedenboy, this car handles way better.

To think that would support the CC seeing as how your swedish. Ofcourse the CC handles better since it has a bilateral acceleration of 1.15g compared to the McLaren F1's 0.85g

I'd just like to say with this whole Koenigsegg vs. McLaren debate going on, that when you're comparing which is the better supercar, you're comparing which is the better supercar, not which is better for the price you pay. It doesn't matter how much money it costs, it's which is better. And with that in mind, I'd tend to think that because of the fact that the McLaren F1 is so much more expensive, it'd still be the ultimate. The McLaren team basically thew unlimited money at their designers and engineers and said, "make us the best car you can come up with" and the F1 is what they came up with.
But of course the whole thing is pointless anyway, because the Diablo is the ultimate over all else1, and for those of you who still give a stuff, it's cheaper than both of them.

You just contradicted yourself! If your not going to consider price, then why do you conclude by saying "since the F1 is the most expensive that makes it the ultimate supercar"? If were going to compare numbers the CC wins hands down.

CC's 0-60........3.2 seconds F1's 0-60...........3.2 seconds
Diablo's 0-60........3.8 seconds
CC's Top Speed.......390 km/hour F1's Top Speed.......378 km/hour
Diablo's Top Speed.......330 km/hour
CC......1.15G's F1.......0.85g's

The CC wins in performance hands down!!!

Ok, first of all, I didn't say, "since the F1 is the most expensive that makes it the ultimate supercar," I said, "I'd tend to think that because of the fact that the McLaren F1 is so much more expensive, it'd still be the ultimate." I'd appreciate it if, when you quote me, you'd take notice of exactly what I said.
Second: If you *would* look at what I actually said, I wasn't trying to imply that the McLaren is the best simply because it's more expensive, I was inferring that if the McLaren is so much more expensive, it would tend to suggest that the engineering/technology behind it is of a much higher quality.
Thirdly: Yes, thankyou for the lovely numbers and statistics, but how fast it goes isn't the be-all and end-all of how good the car is, there are many other things to consider about the car, if it's just straight-line speed you're after, then an American car would probably be the best, and all people with half a brain know that that's not going to happen!
