2. why do we care about f1 cars- this is a supercar site not a racecar site- except for rally cars - those are good enough.

  3. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

Formula 1 don't run methane in there engines, F1 run on petrol.

  4. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

First of all : A formula-1 car is the ultimate supercar

Secondly : Your problem can be solved very easily , if u don't like the car(s) then don't click on it/them !

This website is very diverse and thats one of the reasons that it is as good as it is

F1 is the most important form of racing. Ignoring it is like ignoring Survivor on TV.

I've gotta agree with Bananz on two points:

    First, F1 racing rules!

Second, part of what makes the site so good is that it highlights so many different kinds of cars. Anyone can log on and see anything from F1 to your average low budget sports car.

I can't see why you'd be against having F1 on the site. Seems perfectly fine to me.

A Formula 1 car is not a supercar it's THE supreme car and also this McLaren MP4-17 is the best formula 1 car untill now!!

Any car that can go over 200 mph, is a supercar in my book.

First of all, anyone who thinks that F1 is not the top racing category in the world is an idiot! F1 represents the pinnicle of mototsports in terms of driver skill and technology. CART or NASCAR does not even compare. Rally cars are nice but still obsolete when compared to an F1 car. Besides Villeneuve and JPM, no CART garduate has ever made it anywhere in F1, whilst even F1 rejects can excel at CART. Fi is what all race drivers aspire to, but only a amall handful can make the grade.

  12. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

i assume you care about supercars right? If there wasn't F1, enzo would have just been an engineer and ferrari would never have existed. No ferrari means lamborghini doesn't see a point in making a "supercar" there wouldnt be one, and they would still be making second rate tractors. No ferrari or lamborghini=no mclaren,no high performance porshce cars,no maserati,no aston martain etc. the highest performance car would probably be a porshce 911 carrera (there wouldnt be a need to turbocharge it) you would have the 959 and the other group b homogolation cars but thats it. no f1=no supercars

  13. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

Nobody uses violent force to make you look at the F1-car pages. This site is big enough for you to avoid them. And in the year 2002 the server space shouldn't be a problem either, so they won't take away the space of other cars. You must have a boring life that you feel the need to complain about something that shouldn't matter to you...

ahahahahaha, JPM has won a race and grabbed pole three times, as a rookie, and as for Villenuve, he won th 1997 championship, but i do agree in what you are saying

  15. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

F1 is very important for road cars, because they basicly test things on F1 cars, exemple, paddle shift, it was tested on F1 cars

  16. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

Sure give us F1 cars, but give us some specs to show how far ahead these cars are. What is the point of showing us just the picture?

  17. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

if your dising F1 I'll beat you up at school

  18. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

    You Couldn't do it.

But no I'm not, just saying that all i know about this car is the colour and other useless information.

The website should get the performance numbers to sut up the guy who posted this topic.

  19. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

the actual performane figures are a closely guarded secret by the team engineers.

however at the Brazilian Grand Prix, the ITV commentator said that from the start line to the first corner, the cars would accelerate to 173 MPH and brake back down to 62 MPH, I counted this off at the start and this seemed to take about 10 seconds, but I have serious doubts as to the accuracy of his statement.

  20. Re: who cares about f1 cars on supercars???

if the performance listings were up here, every team boss would be having a fit because there numbers are known, like in most sports and games and such, F1 is about strategy... if you make someone think your car is faster than it is, they will change there strategy to fit that and you have an advantage... say you were playing poker and everyone showed everyone else their cards... uhhh then whats the point of playing poker>!!?!?
