Because they made a new concept car, the Nazca C2.<!-- Signature -->

  2. This car is awesome it definetly should have been put into production

  3. Re: Why didnt they make it?

I have no clue why it didn't go into production. At the time it would have been one of the fastest cars in the world, and even today it's still a monstrous performer.<!-- Signature -->

they should've produced this and called it the BMW M12...an addition to the M-Series ,...lol<!-- Signature -->

I just had the epiphany a minute ago as to why this car never made it into production: No one would buy it. It would be underpowered and overpriced. I admit, I think the car looks good, but 300 hp out of a V12 is horrible. A Cadillac V8 Northstar engine gets 300 hp. Where's the beef???<!-- Signature -->

Also, the M3 has more hp (333) than this. Yes, hp isn't everything, but it would sound better to say to the valet (or whoever), "Here's my 542 hp Jaguar XJ220 that I paid 200K for," than, "Here's my 300 hp M12 Concept I paid a million for," only for the other person to respond, "300 hp? My mom's Cadillac has 300 hp." I couldn't handle someone saying that back to me. But it all comes down to what you like.<!-- Signature -->

true - it is a gorgeous lookin car. but it is horribly underpowered, if Aston-Martin can get 600hp outta the vantage lemans V8 engine, they should be able to get so much more outta the V12.
but it would be worth it for its looks.<!-- Signature -->

CHEVROLET - Cheap, Hardly Efficient, Virtually Runs On Luck Every Time

DODGE - Drips Oil, Drips Gas Everywhere

FORD - F*cker Only Runs Downhill/(backwards)Driver Returns On Foot

PONTIAC - Pours Out Noxious Toxins In American Cities

Supra, they are good acrostics, but they are absolutly ludicrous!

First of all, this car is faster than a ferrari Maranello; with "horribles" 300 H/P.

Second, you have a very bad luck, cuz i have one of those engines installed in my BMW, and isn't horrible at all, in fact, I've killed several times caddys with the northstar V-8; despite of that "horrible" 300 H/P. Also the torque feels much more higher than 336 lb/ft. And I'm about to get some boost on that power, getting more than 400.

    Eat that shit.

    nice car

  13. You are all idiots, that car was made almost 20 years ago and was a concept, so of course the power figures arent comparable to today. If they had fitted M3 heads to the v12, as they did with the McLaren F1, it would have made similar power to that, which is what they would have done if they produced it.
