  1. This car is awesome it definetly should have been put into production

  2. Re: Why didnt they make it?

I have no clue why it didn't go into production. At the time it would have been one of the fastest cars in the world, and even today it's still a monstrous performer.<!-- Signature -->

  6. Re: Why didnt they make it?

I just had the epiphany a minute ago as to why this car never made it into production: No one would buy it. It would be underpowered and overpriced. I admit, I think the car looks good, but 300 hp out of a V12 is horrible. A Cadillac V8 Northstar engine gets 300 hp. Where's the beef???<!-- Signature -->

Also, the M3 has more hp (333) than this. Yes, hp isn't everything, but it would sound better to say to the valet (or whoever), "Here's my 542 hp Jaguar XJ220 that I paid 200K for," than, "Here's my 300 hp M12 Concept I paid a million for," only for the other person to respond, "300 hp? My mom's Cadillac has 300 hp." I couldn't handle someone saying that back to me. But it all comes down to what you like.<!-- Signature -->

true - it is a gorgeous lookin car. but it is horribly underpowered, if Aston-Martin can get 600hp outta the vantage lemans V8 engine, they should be able to get so much more outta the V12.
but it would be worth it for its looks.<!-- Signature -->

Because they made a new concept car, the Nazca C2.<!-- Signature -->

CHEVROLET - Cheap, Hardly Efficient, Virtually Runs On Luck Every Time

DODGE - Drips Oil, Drips Gas Everywhere

FORD - F*cker Only Runs Downhill/(backwards)Driver Returns On Foot

PONTIAC - Pours Out Noxious Toxins In American Cities

Supra, they are good acrostics, but they are absolutly ludicrous!

Why does nobody get this??? The reason for this car not having loads of horsepower is because it DOESN'T NEED IT! The design breif probably went along the lines of:

    Good looking
    Good aerodynamics
    V12
    200mph+

The EXCEPTIONALLY low drag coefficiant on this car means that you no longer need over 600bhp to crack 200 mph; this, my friends, it a piece of automotive art. You could say to the Valet "here's the key to my 200+mph Nazca M12 concept that I paid a million for.", and if he's a car buff, and still comes at you about the hp thing, just ask him whether his mom's caddie does over 200mph.

I bet it could boom past you goin 180, and you'd hardly hear a thing, compared with another, less aerodynamic car.

oh yer, 4.9litre is hardly massive for a V12.
