Re: Why Diss This Car????? does anyone in this forum know somebody that drove a 2003 GT40? Best bet is no one. The car has an estimated to sell for $100,000 and only a car colector would buy it so he/she could put it next to their classic 1960 Ford GT40. I really don't know why you are discussing the handling because it will be modified for a race track if it is ment to be driven there. The new GT40 is designed specifically as a collector's item and to put an impression on car shows. Likewise, the GT90 is a completely different model from the GT40. All that is similar is its low height, big grill, the location of the tires (that being the corners of the vehicle), and other aspects based on appearence. Note the three major differences: 1) V8 to V12 Quad turbo 2) 1960's to 1990's 3) designed for speed in comparison to designed to discover how a car designed almost completely from triangles would get a reaction from the public. Remember the GT40 has been and will be massed produced and the GT90 has barely even left the drawing board and only made it to a working prototype.
