Discussion in '1995 Ford GT90 Concept' started by FORDFORD, May 17, 2003.

  1. just a thought. i think these would be bought quite fast. so would the gt40. anyone agree?
  2. Re: why not make gt40+ this

the GT90 is gone for good. It was intended to be a concept and there is no future for it <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
  3. Re: why not make gt40+ this

anyway ford doesn't have the clients to buy this car...because it only 12000 $ a year guys like you who buys ford... <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
  4. Re: why not make gt40+ this

The GT40 is being put back into production, it's a newer car technology wise and it will now be called the Ford GT.
  5. Re: why not make gt40+ this

They could get the clients for it, they would need to market it properly. Besides there is a 0% chance of this going into production now.
  6. Re: why not make gt40+ this

its not being called the GT its being called the 2005 GT40. Ford already has a GT made, its made in australia by FPV. (ford performance vehicles)
  7. Re: why not make gt40+ this

wow skyline kid, a little obsessed dont you think
  8. Re: why not make gt40+ this

nissan kid, dont post on here this is about a beatiful idea from ford not your little perversions. I think if ford had decided to build these they would have created a market base. There are people who buy Vipers (an american creation) if ford made these the rich off our country who think the money should stay in would probably put down the money for this kind of performance.
  9. Re: why not make gt40+ this

didn't mean to be mean skyline guy, I suppose you were supporting ford on that one...
  10. Re: why not make gt40+ this

    dont care i like it
  11. Re: why not make gt40+ this

The gt90 was considered too costly to produce as the risk for few buyers is too great in proportion to the price this car would ask.
But, one thing's for sure, it would definitely give the bugatti veyron a fright.
  12. Re: why not make gt40+ this

This car has way too musch expenses in its parts too make it a GT40, well i mean they could if they made it like 100grand more than it is, which there wouldn't be any being sold.
  13. Re: why not make gt40+ this

Ill tell you why not, because every tester who driven this car said its possibly the most ill handling car ever created.
  14. Re: why not make gt40+ this

This will never be produced...bottom line. The new Ford GT however, is. Supposedly there's already an EXTREMELY long waiting list for the vehicle, so fat chance of getting one. Plus the Ford GT would cost about $120,000 less than the gt90 (i read somewhere that the gt90 would cost like $260,000)
  15. I read a lot of stuff also, but no one will know how much they would have charged.
