Will Honda ever redeem itself?

  1. At the rate it's going Honda is gonna run itself face first into the ground. Not until it can produce a non-ugly sports car that rivals many and doesn't have Dr. Jekyl-Mr. Hyde handeling.<!-- Signature -->

Um...the S2000 is pretty universally accepted as "non-ugly" and it has some of the best handling in the world. True, a Lotus Elise could corner circles around it (pun intended), but the S2K is no slouch. It's better than most in its class, so I'd say they're safe from running "face first into the ground."<!-- Signature -->

Umm, granted a normal S2000 is nice, this car is just friggin ugly, i'm sorry but it is. I'm sure it's fast and handles nice but come on! look at it!

  5. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?

Will Honda ever redeem itself? How? By selling more cars than damn-near anyone else in the world? By building an economical, highly reliable line of automobiles? What would do it for you? A bulky, underpowered v8 that has the reliability of Gary Busey on an all weekend bender? Don't hate because they put out a great product.<!-- Signature -->

I really never cared too much for the S2000s looks or its performance, and this car is just as ugly but, I am proud that they can get an inline-4 to go 0-60 in 5 seconds, thats pretty amazing<!-- Signature -->

Accord: Car and Driver 10 best, for over 15 years.
Oddessy: AJAC best minivan of the year 1999.
TL: AJAC best car of the year 1999.
    Civic: Best seller in Canada.
Prelude: car and driver 10 best for a few years.
NSX: First Japanese exotic to be recognized by Europeans.

And there are many more, but I think this list is enough to show u how SAD it is.

P.S- All Hondas ( or shall I say most Jap cars?) are rated from good to excellent in reliability. <!-- Signature -->

Hondalover must be afraid of speed or something, 10 best cars include the civic, and a minivan???????

  15. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?

ok, sense you are a chevy lover, how about this, the stock normal S2000 is a 2.ltr 4cyl, that runs the same 1/4 time as the camaro SS V8, the SS's motor is over 2.5 times the size of the s2000 and has twice as many cyl. but yet they run the same 1/4 time? that tells me chevy can't make a good car, but they add a huge motor, and now it's 'great' but honda makes a small car with a small motor and runs the same time and it's 'crap' that sound to me like some bull crap to me.

  16. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?

  22. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?

Mugen isn't a car company, it's Honda's in-house performance development branch, much the same as TRD is for Toyota, and SVT is for Ford.

  23. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?

Umm, ok, I'm going to assume your mom birthed you directly into the toilet or something.

The NSX blows the Viper out of the water for handling.

  24. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?

    The NSX needs "balls" "muscle"!
I know that sounds americanish and pro domestic(I like european cars a great combination of everything) But it is true. I heard somewhere that in Japan its illegal for dealerships to sell cars with more then 280bhp but i'm not sure(any help plz???) I say if Honda creates a more powerful engine with a crazy amount of torque and V-TEC(thas an amazingly smart idea for torque at both high and low rpm's) This car would murder.

Thanks for your time. Any questions e mail me. OR reply to this.

  25. Re: Will Honda ever redeem itself?
