Interesting. 2.4GHz isn't just a single "thing". There are I think 12 channels within 2.4GHz, some of which have no overlap whatsoever, meaning they can operate simultaneously with no issue. I initially had issues getting my wireless to work, until I figured out that most peoples routers default to channel 6, and I put mine on 11 where there was apparently far less congestion.

    wiki to the rescue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11#Channels_and_international_compatibility

That's probably what he needs to do, but he's lazy.

  3. the speakers may not allow him to change, but he could change the access point, but then you'd have to change your wireless adapters, etc.

  4. I don't think ALMS makes good speakers.

  5. I'd actually favor a good 3.1 setup over a wireless 5.1.

  6. What does Raul thinks about this?

  7. he would prefer your home theater to be a 5.3 setup.

  8. Perfect.

  9. 5.1 or 7.1 is boring anyways. 12.12 is the future

    4th pic is 4 1080p movies at once on a 4k projector

  10. And its all fake, too. I don't see a single power or signal cable connected to any of those amps. You can see the back of that one speaker in the third pic isn't even connected to anything!

  11. I have a 3.0 at home and its fine.

  12. i noticed this too, but apparently these pics were taken before everything was hooked up. it will never look this tidy again

how do you 'change the channel' on a wireless router? mine drops out intermittently every hour or so maybe this could be a solution? besides it being busted.

  14. in your browser go to 192.168.1.1

if you don't know the username/password it's probably rootdmin. find wireless settings or something and there should be an option.

  15. all right cool thanks.

  16. wireless speakers are junk

  17. ghastly

would you honestly want all that shit in your house?

  18. 4th pic is weak as #$%#

Just last week I was running 2 6k projectors with 5 inputs and sending a live tv feed of everything the projectors were seeing. Let's put it this way, soon we're getting some Barco FLM HD20's. Should be TITS

Not to mention the 4.2 setup we had running. Left and Right inner and outer. And only 2 15' glassyballs clear. And blowing Rauls deals outta the water. That's $60k in speakers. Easy.

  19. if he got some 1:18 wires they'd hide nicely in the piles of the carpet
