Without the limiter?

I know for a fact that the M3 coupe goes 183mph without the limiter. My guess for this car (taking into account wind resistance due to the convertible top) is that it would go about 170mph. The M5 would go about the same speed due its weight.<!-- Signature -->

LOL......170 mph.....I don't think so!! Especially not with those short gears and only 333 hp!! This car isn't exactly light either.

I have just sold my 2002 M3 Convertible which was a press car before i owned it. it was used on Uk t.v show top gear and i can tell you that i was driving from Birmingham on the M5 motorway southbound, just out of Worcester in England, and i had the top down, i managed just over 170mph, the car had not fully redlined but the speed would not increase due to the aerodynamics of the car. So screw you Stingray guy you dont know a good car until you have owned an M3
