Would this road-legal 962 excite SCnet members?

  1. I thought drag increased with the cube of velocity, in which case its topspeed would be 4.9km/h more (409.5) if its the square of velocity it's 10.9 km/h more (415.5 km/h)
  2. Well only the top gear is important.

  4. Now Jim Glickenhaus has the guts and the resources (a huge heap of cash among others) to follow his dream to build his Ferrari 612 P4/5.

I wish I will have the opportunity to do the same in my lifetime.

the only place in the world to drive LeMans cars is in the Bahamas but it cost something like $3million a year road tax.
  6. The Honda NSX has the same drag co-efficent so if it is only 195.7 BHP per ton, and can manage to travel 174 mph maximun, it also somewhat similar in height. It also has the same transmission, the rear track is very similar but the front track is different just like the dauer being 20cm wider than the NSX. Okay so not that i've shown you the reasons why im using the NSX to work out its top speed I will tell you using my calculations the Dauer 962 that we are talking about should be able to reach a cool 330 MPH(different engine to NSX-R can affect this speed; so if its an 8 cyclinder it will not do the same speed)
  7. sorry. i don't get what you're trying to say <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
  8. well i was explaining the massive simalarities of the NSX-R to the dauer 962 in stats to prove why i've choosen that NSX info to work out the dauer 962 top speed for that dudes modified car, and it works out to be 330 MPH, if the engine was a V6, if it was slightly bigger this top speed will descend for some reason. (koeniggsegg V8 & bugatti Veyron simialar speeds different engine size so is affected the veyron in speed challenge)
