I'm not a fan of it's looks. Yeah, it's kind of cool looking but to me it looks like a kit-car. If the performance stats are correct then this is way over priced. If I had 175K to spend it would not be on this car. I'd much rather have an Z06, which to me looks nicer, performs better, and is about 1/3 the price. <!-- Signature -->

  3. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

I think this car is worth a $178,000.
It looks great and I'm sure it performs well too.
If you're flamboyant and can afford these supercars; you must buy this.

  4. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

WOW. IT LOOKS SHARP AND THE PERFORMANCE MAKES IT LOOK SHARPER

  5. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

Yeah this car looks great and the stats are amazing.
If i had 175k to blow, yeah i would prolly buy a z06 but if i had alot more money to spare yeah Id buy this. man come on look at it.

I think one of the biggest reasons this car is so expensive is because of the limited production. Yes, the fact that the body and EVERYTHING has been redone on a car with a base price of 40K to begin with accounts for a lot of it, but if the production numbers are anything like past Callaways, there might only be 100 around. This is a car for people who have "money to burn" <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

this car is fast, it looks nice and all, but id rather buy a new Z06 for 50K, throw about 10k into it and destroy this car in a race. while i still have 118k extra in my wallet.

  8. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

    I'd rather buy a £70000 Tuscan R or a 911 GT2.

But this car is very good.

  9. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

this car does look much better than regular vettes but id rather take a lingenfelter vette before i took one of these.

    I love Jennifer!!!!!!!

  10. It's a nice looking car, but no way does it look like a real corvette. It looks really nice though<!-- Signature -->

i have to go with imprezawrx14 on that one it looks a lot better than a normal Vette. Its Faster and Better Looking how could you go wrong with it. It would be the only Corvette i would buy.

  13. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

ok this thing blows my mnd and it hasn't been blown since i drove a L88 vette without a seat belt this thing rules!!!!!!!!
a heavy duty suspension and oh god imagine this thing as a prototype racer? or just racing in general? man i wish this thing was a gm concept. it would be a viper killer<!-- Signature -->

  14. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

1/4 mile time is way wrong. Should be much quicker.

  15. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

I love this car, performance and styling. Its incredible<!-- Signature -->

  16. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

Has anyone found hi-res pictures of it, or the C12-R? I wat a nice background picture and seeing as it is one of my favorite cars it would be nice.

  17. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

are you supprised that it costs 170,000$???

  18. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

yeah..tis a lil bit pricy..i mean you could buy a z06 and spend 1/4 of the price of this and make the z06 go faster than it...but its one of the nicest looking vettes ive seen<!-- Signature -->

  19. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

    A 911 GT2 is a better buy, but I'd prefer this over a TVR.

  20. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

i would take a 911 turbo over this and then tune it. it does look better than a normal vette but not a $100,000+ better. also i am not a vette fan generally. and tuscan r would own it, if it ever gets released.

  21. Re: Wow a 178,000 for this car

I'd agree that a 911 GT2 is better buy, but the looks of this thing are heartbreaking. The callaway is so much better looking, and its performance is nothing to scoff at. True it looks little like a traditional Vette, but it still has the beautiful curves in all the right places that made the Vette so popular. And since you don't see many of these, and where I'm from thats saying something, in relation to other cars of the same caliber, this is a much better buy.
