This is a beautiful car, you're right. The people at Hennessey Motorsports are planning to tune a Cruiser. They are gonna call it the "PT Crusher". The engine would be a tuned Viper V-10 engine, with 650 horsepower. I am just curious how they are gonna get that engine under the hood, but hell... It would accelerate in 3,5 seconds from 0 to 60 mph. They are planning to build 25 of them, and it would cost 200.000 dollars.

First of all Anaconda, isn't it a lil' bit logical a Viper engine would cost more? Second of all, I've read this in a German car magazine, Chrome and Flames if anybody knows that. They were writing a Cruiser Special.

And that's the picture of the Crusher. Sorry but that's the only picture I have, I know it isn't high quality, but it is proof. You can see the Hennessey sign and the name, PT Crusher. All you guys happy now?

OH NO! I just had a horrible thought. What if Hennessey Motorsprts decided to ditch the PT Crusher! That would be a major bummer.

  8. I simply can not believe what people can do with the weird, underpowered PT cruiser, I mean, they have been made into trucks, cop cars, limos, panel vans, hotrods, ect...

  14. Re: Wow.

Could be... I read in that article the production won't go on if there were'nt enough people interested in the Crusher. So maybe if u order a couple the production will continue

    just kiddin' u know

  15. Re: Wow.

this goes to anaconda that said to put a Viper engine in a PT cruiser the car would have to cost a lot more than $200,000. Thats odd a Viper wit a (get this) VIPER ENGINE some how only cost $72,000 for a new one. That is the smallest engine of course but how much horsepower do u really think u need to push a lil' Cruiser.

And this was not intended to the guy that said they would cost $200,000 for the Cruiser with the Viper Engine. Because of the limited numbers I can see where a high price would come in.
