I had that last two weeks ago, then last week I had a huge rib eye. Need to switch it up a bit, steak is getting boooooooring.
I'm liking these seafood ideas. How would I prepare swordfish steaks? And would they fall apart on the BBQ?
Poish Sausage with a spicy honey mustard glaze, then some various fruit with a vinagarette sauce very light, along with corn on the cob with basil-parmesan butter. All done on the grill, I have a recipe for the Polish and the corn on the cob, but the fruit must really be done to taste, even which fruit you like. I do the Polsh to taste as well, as I like it quite spicy.
Shouldnt do as long as you dont over cook 'em. this sounds pretty good... http://en.allexperts.com/q/Barbecue-3203/bbqing-swordfish-steaks.htm
BBQ chicken is always good. Also, you could do some good seafood, I'm blanking on the name of this really good fish I grilled the other day.
Just try this once, you can even just try it on one ear of corn, if done correctly, you won't be dissapointed. Prep Time 10 mins Grilling time 10-15 mins Butter Ingredients (Start) 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened 1/4 cup freshly grated Pamigiano-Reggiano cheese 2 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil (Doesn't have to be fresh) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (Doesn't have to be fresh) 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic (end) Makes 4 corns, husked 1. To make the butter: In a small bowl, mash the butter ingredients together with the back of a fork, and then stir to distribute he seasonings through-out the butter. 2. Brush aout 1 Tablespoon of the seasoned butter all over each ear of corn. Grill over direct Medium heat until browned in spots and tender, 10 to 15 mins, turning occasionally. Serve warm with the remainin butter spread on the corn.
Instructions clearly specified no steak, or pan frying, or oven. Why you're putting steak in the oven, only god knows.
Shit, that corn recepie sounds very inticing. I might give something like that a whirl. Kindda fatty though with all that butter <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/confused.gif"></A>

Yea, it is fatty, stick to a single ear per person, although most of the butter is melted off over the flame. Be careful though, it catches fire very easy because of the butter, have to watch it closely. It's not an everyday deal, just a once in a while specialty.
