Am I alone in thinking no Porsche ever has looked good? At best they'd pedestrian, and most of the time they're outright unattractive. Point: looks along make this not the best sports car, since looks are most of what people are after with a sports car purchase. No matter how well this drives it looks like a weirdly proportioned poorly detailed Volkswagen.
becuse of the same reason that prevent me from "dreaming of having" the Gallardo. u can get a second hand biger sister for the same amount of money (or slightly more). also, i prefer the Z4M coupe over the cayman, specialy after driving both.
thsts too easy, why we dont start by posting somthing like this <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
back to the subject, the cayman is a good car, but when i drove it i felt that there is somthing is missing, it could be much better. i like its chassie, but performance wise, it could be better. compare it to the Z4M coupe, the cayman is like having good sex but without orgasm, but the bimmer is like having multiple orgasms during one sex session.
I come back after a looong time of not posting, to find this?!?!?!?! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/angry.gif"></A> #$%#UFAGGOT <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/angry.gif"></A>
Minus the sex, that's pretty much what Clarkson said. The fact that the Cayman had to be limited performance wise, and couldn't live up to its potential, because of how it fitted in the line up means that Porsche themselves have sucked up to this image that the Cayman is less than the 911, and this ruined the car.
also, dont forget the Z4M copue is much much fun. what i like about the bimmer is that it is simple, similar to the old M cars. the cayman is great car, well-balanced, and really easy to drive. it has better interior quality than the bimmer, and IMO it looks bitter (but it is not a good-looking car).
