1935 Duesenberg Model SJN

1935 Duesenberg Model SJN

The most desirable of all the Model Js is the SJN which combines the supercharged SJ engine with the lower and wider bodywork from the JN. Only two of these models were made and each is the most celebrated of the type.

Our feature example is J564 and was built by Rollston as their flagship offering. It is similar to the four other Rollston Convertible Coupes but is unique with its four external door hinges.

At the time of writing J564 is a thoroughly original car showing just 16,500 miles on the odometer. It has been carefully used by William Parfet and displayed all the major American Concours.

The second SJN is J533 which is a long-time exhibit of the Nethercutt Collection. In 2011 it debuted from an extensive restoration that changed the outward color from black to silver. It later won Best of Show at the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
