The Aston Martin V12 Speedster is among the rarest and most thrilling members of the Vantage lineup, with only 88 built. Its design is inspired by the 1959 Le Mansโwinning DBR1 and the 2013 CC100 concept, while power comes from Aston Martinโs 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12, producing 700 hp and 753 Nm of torque, paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic driving the rear wheels.
Its aluminum chassis, adapted from the DBS Superleggera, supports the larger engine and advanced suspension setup. Key features include 21-inch forged alloy wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive dampers, twin rear exhaust outlets, and a removable leather bag in place of a glove box. The V12 Speedster accelerates from 0โ62 mph in 3.5 seconds and is limited to a top speed of 186 mph.
Currently offered through Collecting Cars’ Sealed Bids, this is the fourth V12 Speedster built and one of the few specified with Aston Martinโs Q-created โTop Gun Maverick Specification.โ It is finished in Skyfall Silver (โMaverick Paint Primaryโ) with blue exterior accents and a black leather and technical fabric interior.
Stored in the rear buttresses are two helmets replicating Maverickโs design from the film, with covers shaped like fighter jet canopies. Carbon door sills feature plaques depicting an F/A-18 Hornet silhouette and the โTop Gun Maverickโ logo. Additional features include adjustable suspension, navigation, phone connectivity, climate controls, and power-folding mirrors.
