Now listed on Collecting Cars, this track-focused McLaren Senna is a stunning showcase of lightweight design and advanced aerodynamics, created as the ultimate road-legal circuit weapon in McLaren’s Ultimate Series and enhanced with a sought-after McLaren Special Operations (MSO) specification.
Power comes from a brutal 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 delivering 789 horsepower to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This example is number 21 of only 500 built, with just over 3,100 km on the odometer. Weighing a mere 1,198 kg dry, it sprints from 0–62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reaches a claimed top speed of 208 mph.
Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the Senna became the third model in McLaren’s Ultimate Series, honoring Formula One legend Ayrton Senna. Based on the 720S but heavily reworked, it features a revised carbon-fibre monocoque, aggressive aero elements such as a massive adjustable rear wing, dual-element diffuser, roof scoop, and extensive air channels for maximum downforce and cooling.
This car is finished in exposed matte carbon fibre with blue accents, while the Alcantara-trimmed interior continues the theme with carbon seats and blue detailing. It sits on staggered forged wheels with blue brake calipers and Trofeo R tires, and comes equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, LED lighting, dihedral doors, climate control, launch control, and McLaren’s IRIS infotainment system with navigation.
