As the first open-cockpit road car ever created by McLaren Automotive, the Elva represents one of the boldest interpretations of the brand’s Ultimate Series philosophy. Following icons such as the McLaren P1, McLaren Senna GTR, and McLaren Speedtail, the Elva pushed engineering minimalism even further.
Power comes from a mid-mounted 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 derived from the Senna, producing 802 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Capable of reaching 62 mph in just three seconds, the Elva combines staggering acceleration with exceptional steering feel, active suspension technology, and near-limitless customization through McLaren Special Operations.
Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2021 McLaren Elva is number 110 of a planned 149-unit production run and is reportedly one of 19 examples equipped with a full windscreen. Finished in gloss white MSO 2×2 twill carbon fiber with gold accent stripes, the car also features sandblasted Zircon trim, an MSO split exhaust, rear wing pylons, and carbon-fiber mirror housings.
Gloss-black forged wheels measure 19×9 inches front and 20×11 inches rear and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 245/35 front and 305/30 rear. A front lift system is equipped. Braking is handled by 390mm carbon-ceramic rotors with six-piston front and four-piston rear forged monobloc calipers finished in gold with black McLaren lettering.
The rear spoiler also contributes aerodynamic braking assistance. Suspension uses a double-wishbone setup with adaptive damping and roll control through the ProActive Chassis Control II system with Comfort, Sport, and Track modes. Variable Drift Control, Brake Steer, launch control, and electro-hydraulic steering are standard.
The cabin features carbon-fiber bucket seats upholstered in Ice White Ultrafabric with yellow piping, stitching, and embroidered headrests. Body-color carbon fiber extends across the doors, center console, and rear bulkhead, while the exterior gold stripe continues through the interior.
Additional equipment includes a carbon-fiber steering wheel wrapped in black leather with a yellow centering stripe, deployable rollover protection, yellow shoulder belts, air conditioning, parking sensors, a rearview camera, touchscreen infotainment, a McLaren sound system, bespoke MSO speaker covers, and black floor mats with yellow piping.
