Renowned for transforming the world’s most desirable machines into truly unique pieces of automotive sculpture, MANSORY’s latest show-stopper is the Carbonado X, a newly unveiled one-off hyper-performance vehicle that embodies the brand’s philosophy of uncompromising design and power.
Unveiled as an “Atelier” showroom vehicle for MANSORY’s Dubai location, the Carbonado X is described by the company as a “One of One” creation, meaning there will be no two cars exactly alike. Unlike typical aftermarket packages that modify existing parts, every body component on the Carbonado X is designed and manufactured from scratch using solid carbon fibre, baked in MANSORY’s own autoclaves for maximum strength and minimal weight.
The name Carbonado is evocative, it refers to a rare, naturally occurring black diamond and perfectly captures the vehicle’s blend of brute performance and bespoke craftsmanship. The Carbonado name has roots in MANSORY’s history, gaining cult status years ago with other carbon-focused models, especially those based on the Lamborghini Aventador, before this new ‘X’ version completely modifies the current Revuelto model from Sant’Agata.
The exterior of the Carbonado X is boldly sculpted to stand out even among its supercar peers. The redesigned front apron and hood introduce a low, purposeful stance, while expansive side air intakes and integrated cooling ducts channel airflow efficiently to help cool the powerhouse beneath. A prominent roof scoop feeds fresh air to the mid-mounted engine, and at the rear, a newly engineered diffuser and extendable spoiler heighten aerodynamic stability and downforce at speed.
Bespoke lightweight forged wheels, featuring carbon rings we’ve seen on the Lamborghini Veneno before, measure 10×21 inches up front and 12.5×22 inches at the rear, wrapped in ultra-sticky performance tyres to harness every bit of the car’s prodigious power.
Inside, the Carbonado X continues its bespoke theme with full Alcantara® upholstery and contrasting accents that highlight MANSORY’s attention to detail. Illuminated MANSORY logos and backlit door panels add a layer of exclusivity, underlining that this is no mere performance machine, it is a highly curated luxury object as well.
Under the skin, the Carbonado X builds on a Lamborghini base but pushes performance into another stratosphere. The 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 has been extensively tuned to deliver 930 hp and 765 Nm, replacing the already potent figures of the standard model. But the true headline comes from the integration of three electric motors, two on the front axle and one on the rear, which elevate system output to a staggering 1,120 hp.
This combination of combustion and electrification results in supercar-beating performance numbers: 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph): ~2.3 seconds and a staggering top speed of 355 km/h (220+ mph), such figures place the Carbonado X in hypercar territory, blending blistering acceleration with the kind of exotic flair that only a one-off like this can offer.
