Now offered through Broad Arrow Private Sales, this 2012 Lexus LFA Nürburgring Package represents one of the rarest and most desirable configurations of Lexus’s landmark supercar. This particular example is one of only 25 U.S.-market cars equipped with the Nürburgring Package and is finished in Whitest White with BBS Forged Graphite wheels and red brake calipers. Its two-tone cabin features white trim complemented by red seats, carpeting, headliner, and steering-wheel grips.
The LFA emerged from Lexus’s ambitious effort to shed its conservative luxury-car image and establish technological credibility in the supercar segment. Revealed at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show following roughly nine years of development, it combined an advanced carbon-fiber monocoque with aluminum front and rear subframes, double-wishbone front suspension, and a multi-link rear layout. Race-inspired remote-reservoir KYB dampers and Brembo monobloc calipers paired with carbon-ceramic brakes and brake-by-wire technology provided the chassis hardware necessary to control its extraordinary performance.
Its centerpiece was the Yamaha-developed 1LR-GUE 4.8-liter V10. Drawing engineering knowledge from Toyota’s Formula 1 program, the 40-valve engine produced approximately 552 horsepower in standard form and revved toward 9,000 rpm with exceptional urgency. Aluminum, magnesium, and titanium construction kept mass remarkably low, while lightweight internals and forged titanium connecting rods minimized rotational inertia. Dry-sump lubrication allowed the engine to sit lower within the chassis, while its titanium exhaust system delivered the distinctive, high-frequency V10 soundtrack for which the LFA became famous.
The Nürburgring Package transformed the LFA into an even more focused machine. Available for $70,000, it incorporated revised suspension calibration, aerodynamic enhancements, reduced weight, increased output to approximately 563 horsepower, and quicker transmission shifts. Weight savings approached 200 pounds, while a fixed carbon-fiber rear wing, front splitter, and turning vanes increased aerodynamic efficiency. Performance included a 201-mph top speed and a 0-to-60-mph time of approximately 3.7 seconds. In 2011, an LFA Nürburgring Package recorded a 7:14.64 lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, establishing the model as a serious performance benchmark.
Delivered new by Lexus of Riverside, California, the car has remained under exceptionally careful ownership and now shows just 72 miles. It retains its original books, delivery certificate, three keys, first-aid kit, branded car-cover bag, framed window sticker, and extensive documentation. Its exceptionally high original specification included more than $141,000 in options.
