This 2024 Mercedes-AMG ONE is an ultra-exclusive hypercar as it is one of only 275 units produced. It represents a remarkable fusion of Formula 1 technology and road car engineering. Its powertrain is derived from the 2016 championship-winning Mercedes F1 car driven by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
The turbocharged 1.6-liter hybrid V-6 paired with advanced electric motors delivers a total of 1,063 horsepower. This setup enables blistering performance, including a 0–62 mph of 2.9 seconds, a top speed of 219 mph, and the production car lap record at the Nürburgring.
The car’s development was complex and lengthy, as engineers adapted a race engine—normally requiring a full crew—to function reliably in a road-legal vehicle. First revealed in 2017, production was delayed until 2022 due to technical challenges, regulatory requirements, and global disruptions.
This particular example is finished in AMG Silver Arrow with Star livery and Petronas Green accents, complemented by a luxurious interior in Magma Grey Nappa leather and black microfibre. It includes advanced features such as active aerodynamics, a Formula 1-style drag-reduction system, ceramic brakes, and adjustable suspension.
Delivered new in Germany and maintained by a single owner, the car has only 89 kilometers on the odometer. It comes with a full set of accessories, including a custom indoor cover, tools, and exclusive AMG ONE Sennheiser earphones.
As one of the most technologically advanced road cars ever built, the AMG ONE is a fitting tribute to Mercedes’ dominance in Formula 1 and is a highly desirable collector’s piece. It will be offered at RM Sotheby’s Monaco Auction on 25 April, with an estimate of between $2.8 million and $3.3 million.
