NSX Type S zero is capable of 12.7sec. ANd its 0-60mph is 4.7 sec
Since NSX-R does 0-60mph in 4.4 sec, i would estimate that it can do the 1/4 in around 12.5 sec.

hell yea! im sick of people sayin that honda's and acura's are so fast! some people look at a modified honda 4-banger they think it's hella nice but all i see is an unmanly ugly piece of crap! im sick of there gaudy crap like there disgusting exost's it sounds like a dying bumble bee. a freakin vette or a bmw m3 would hella stomp a honda to the ground! dont get me wrong. hondas are great cars. u can run the hell out of 1 of those. But they're made to get good gas millage and go to ur local k-mart, all im tryin to say is they are'nt made for racing. the only real racing honda is the nsx but there still not that fast. the hondas and acuras like on nopi tuner vision are race cars cuz they are stripped, have plastic bodies, and are'nt street legal.

    as always,
    e30 m3

... Once again i see ppl that have no clue about cars saying shiet like "what's with hondas and acuras" and "japanese cars suck" sometimes "american cars suck". I dont see that many ppl complaining about american cars, but why u #%$gotass "American muslce car" enthusiasts talk shiet about japanese cars? American cars r made for the muscles and japanese cars are made for the general performance. Not everyone gives a shiet about strait line performance, so juss keep ur mouths shut before u get ur punyasses kicked. Go to any pro racer, none of em would talk shit about any of the cars. Therefore, anyone who truly knows about cars dont talk shiet about em, and ppl that do talk shiet dont know anything about cars cuz they r juss freakin dumb and make statements before thinking about it and before truly knowing about cars.

  6. Re: 0-60mph in 4.4 sec

...Once again I see a loudmouth narrow minded fool posting the usual crap in the forums. Try learn spelling and grammer you dolt. Go to any pro car enthusiast, they will never talk 1/10 the rubbish you do. Your statement at the bottom completely sums YOU up...

"Therefore, anyone who truly knows about cars dont talk shiet about em, and ppl that do talk shiet dont know anything about cars cuz they r juss freakin dumb and make statements before thinking about it and before truly knowing about cars."

Go back to mixing cement, or at least go to a muscle car forum and mouth off there instead.

3.9? try 4.5 and above. So why dont you open your eyes and notice that many times a japanese v-6 has beat a american v-8. Shut up and get the hell out of here.

  8. dude, if an m3 can be beaten by an nsx(stock) in a drag (yeah i have proof), then its gonna be kicked on the track cos the nsx is perhaps the best handling japanese sports car there is. yeah the nsx-r beats porsches (with the exception of the like of a gt2)

  9. Actually it was Nurburgring, Nordschleife to be specific, and it was 7:58, the NSX-R achieved a lap time of 7:56 on the same track. Faster than the Z06.

  10. Actually where this car will "murder" a Z06 is not in straightline acceleration (though both are close in 0-100km/h at just over 4 and 1/4 seconds), it is in high speed cornering around race tracks, road coarses, etc.

The NSX-R is quite consistently a few seconds faster than the Z06 around race tracks.

and if you want to discuss the difference in power, then just look at the JGTC spec NSX and the Corvette C5-R, with just slightly more than 100hp less than the C5-R, the NSX absolutely destroys the C5-R in every aspect of performance, from top speed, to any acceleration range, to 1/4, to any conceivable test of handling, even braking.

No my deluded friend, while the Z06 may be marginally faster in acceleration thanks to its power, the NSX-R outdoes it in every other possible way.
