  1. I have them from PS a german motorcycle magazine.
    (Its in km/h, so 100kmh is 62mph and 200kmh is 125mph and 250kmh is 150mph etc.)

    Bike: 0-100kmh 0-200 0-250 topspeed

    Honda CBR600RR 04: 3.2 9.1 - 255

    Honda CBR1000RR 04: 3.0 7.9 13.1 289

    Honda CBR1100F 04: 2.9 7.7 13.6 291

    Kawasaki ZX-6R 04: 3.1 8.6 - 259

    Kawasaki ZX-10R 04: 3.1 7.2 11.9 299

    Kawasaki ZX-12R 04: 2.7 7.5 12.2 299

    Suzuki GSX-R600 04: 3.4 8.9 - 262

    Suzuki GSX-R750 04: 3.0 8.2 14.3 275

    Suzuki GSX-R1000 04: 3.2 8.1 12.6 292

    Suzuki GSX-R1300 (Busa): 2.5 6.9 11.1 299

    Yamaha YZF-R6 04: 3.3 8.9 - 255

    Yamaha YZF-R1 04: 3.1 7.5 12.7 298

    Yamaha YZF-1000R (Ace) 04: 3.0 8.6 15.3 281

    Ducati 999R 04: 3.1 8.3 17.3 271

    MV Agusta F4 1000S 04: 2.9 7.2 12.8 312

(Jap bikes are limited at topspeed)

  2. Japanese and European bikes are limited to 186mph (300kph) per an agreement back in 2001. Prior to that the Hayabusa was going 193mph.

Where wasn't much need to limit Ducati since they have shit for top end anyway. Ducati of course wanted to go along iwth it because they knew they couldn't touch the top end speeds of the Japanese 4 cylinders.

  3. ....interesting

  4. Wow look at that MV Agusta go!!!!!!

  5. Yeah only because they refuse to adhere to the gentlemens agreement between Japan and Europe to limit the top speed of motorcycles. The 12R and Hayabusa can easily eclipse that mark.

  6. who cares you dumbass! they could go a couple more mph, and not handle near as good! besides i was talking about the 0-150mph...where its almost as quick.

  7. The most important thing in bike times are the 0-200km/h time, 0-100 is very difficult due to wheelieng, the Busa does it in 2.5 secs because its got a heavy front end, the 12R the same. You can see the lighter bikes having trouble at the start so that theres no difference between 600 and 1000 bikes.

    PS: Times Enzo:

    0-100: 3.56
    0-200: 9.6 (never done by a mag, fastest I've seen is 10.1)
    0-250: 19.9

    Compare that with the bikes.................

  8. Ohyeah, Truimph and Aprilia (from a Dutch mag called Motor)

    Bike 0-100 0-200 0-250 topspeed

    Aprilia RS125 6.8 - - 168

    Aprilia RS250 4 19.2 - 219 (short gearing)

    Aprilia RSV Mille 2.9 8.3 15.5 274

    Aprilia Falco 3.3 10.4 21.3 261

    Truimph Speed Four 3.6 11.2 - 242

    Truimph Speed Triple 3.1 10.1 19.7 264

    Truimph TT600 3.3 10.3 - 255

    Truimph Daytona 955 3.1 8.5 15.8 276

  9. Do the Mclaren instead...0-200mph 28secs

  10. Also some VERY interesting times from the Busa and 12R from 2000, so without the limiter.

    Bike 0-100 0-200 0-250 topspeed

    Kawasaki ZX12R 2.7 7.2 12.0 310
    Suzuki Hayabusa: 2.4 6.8 11.3 321

(I have no 100% ensurance these times are correct, the topspeeds are very high, the Busa had an Akrapovic system and the 12R was stock.)

  11. Shut up.

That MCLaren does 0-160 as fast as a Busa does it to 200.
