2001 vs 2002

Discussion in '2002 Courage C60' started by Audiquattro4, Aug 9, 2002.

  1. R8 vs. this?

Not being arrogant or anything but I think the R8 will beat it in le Mans simply because the way it is built is so easy to dissamble (but I'm not sure about this) and they're cramming a bunch of bhp from a V6. How long will that last in le Mans compared to the V8 from Audi? By the way I think that 'iloverotaries' guy is a ______ (you can fill in the blank). So I started a new sensible topic and he may royally kiss my ass as i pass him in my Taurus SHO which only has 240hp!!<!-- Signature -->

The most successful engines at Le Mans are 6 cylinders by far.

Then are 8 cylinders , then 12 cylinders.

They use a V6 simply because Peugeot biggest engine is a V6.
They use the 3.0L V6 from the 607 and 406 , increased at 3.2L and turbocharged.

    I explain.

Courage factory only makes the car without the engine.
The "C60" is the car without the engine.

    2 teams will use a C60.

The French Pescarolo Sport team will use the 3.2L turbo Peugeot.
The French official Courage team will use a Judd V10 engine.

You'll have to know that the car official names are :
The number of the car + the engine type.

    example : Audi Sport North America n°2 - 3596T
    Courage Competition n°13 - 3998A

That seems very strange , but this is the way the cars should be named.

I got the info from the official entrant list.
