It's mental that with 911s and GTR's and such doing 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, 4.6 (regardless of the car) just doesn't seem very quick anymore. In fact anything more than 4 seconds is yawn territory.
Hard to get a fair comparison with the RS3 vs GTR and 911Turbo S PDK, remember that the RS3 "only" has 340hp vs ~500hp for GTR and 911 TSPDK. 4,6seconds is quite impressive considering that the M3 for an example does it in ~5,0s(?!)
The A3 sportbacks seem to have something very awkward about their proportions, but yeah, closer to the original (awesome) RS2 it won't come I think
Just have a look at what BMW is charging for their 1-series M. RS3 has 340hp/450Nm, 1M has 340hp/500Nm RS3's 0-100kmh = 4,6sec (55.400EUR) 1M's 0-100kmh = 4,9sec (54.900EUR) And usually BMW charges a little bit more for the extras, considering these cars will hang with Cayman S wich costs 10k Euro more, and the RS3 has a 7-speed Auto as standard, while the 1M and the Cayman S has manual's. Id definitely go with the RS3 in Misano-red, Yummie!
