3.5 seconds?

  1. I'd have expected more like 3.1~3.2 range judging by its power. I like the top speed, though.
  2. It is all about the gear ratios. You sacrifice acceleration when you spread the ratios out wide. That is why the top speed is high. I still have never driven a car that went 0-60 in 3.5. Maybe someday.
  3. It only surprises me because it also has 780 lb/ft of torque.
  4. Maybe it could be capable with launch control but it's also not geared for that sort of acceleration. But it's fast enough so why bother?
  5. I don't understand measuring a car's capabilities by 0-100 km/h acceleration.
  6. Did anyone notice that this is one of the only (if not the only) normally aspirated engine to have more than 100 pounds of torque per liter?
