It's definately a potential. I know for me, as soon as they announced they were dropping the RB, I lost interest.
i thought it was 80k...anyway actually ur paying for 3.5sec 0-60time <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A> is worth it IMO

(((((((($70,000 for a V6? STUPID!!!!!)))))))))) Well How about a V6 that can do 0-60 in 3.5 sec and 1/4 mile in 11.7 seconds?? That is faster than A BIG V8 7.0 liter Corvette Z06 That all it's parts are made up of Carbon Fiber?????? and weighs alot less than This V6 GT-R!!! Z06=1420 kg GT-R=1720 kg Thats why It's 70,000$ for a V6....This is made to Compete with Porsches...
6 cylinder enginz suck lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol
but if you had the choice, you'd still take the RB, no? I know I would. Enough that I really don't care about this GT-R. Unless someone puts an RB in it, then it's #@$%#ing sweet! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A> That and colour the A-pillar.
@ broken.......seriously dude, how old are you? you have a porshe in ur avatar which also has a 6 cylinder engine, and u complain abt 6 cylinders? now that is stupid. and btw, cars like porshe gt3 and 911 turbo cost 110k-130k....so if u can spend that much for 6 cylinders, then why not pay 70k for the GTR? the GTR can give porsches a run for the money.
I think we'll have to wait and see how it performs and sounds first. The performance data is already better than a Z06, which is impressive for a V6. I love the way the RB's sound...hopefully this new engine doesn't dissapoint. One of my other favorite cars (STi) has already gone down the pooper for 2008, hopefully this one doesn't let us down...
yea but the corvette z06 is only 65,000...you can buy the corvette and put a 5,000 dolla rupgrade to the engine and then it will blow the hell out of the gtr with the same price
5000 isn't enough for corvette. Muffler, sport intake, remapping ecu, and ignition allready cost 5k, that's not include tuning service.
ok, so it weighs a bit, that means with a bit of weight reduction this would smoke the crap out of nearly every supercar made for 1/2 the price... the only thing it doesnt have going for it is its looks... seriously, looks like a mustang (which is nice) mixed with an rx8 (which is ok).. together=ass
1st of all, 5000 is not enough to upgrade the Z06......secondly, the Z06 starts at 71000 (for 2008 model year) and 70000 (for 2007 model year)......go to chevrolet's website and get ur facts straight.
I don't think people are going to relate $70K with V6 all too often. They'll be more interested in the amount of horsepower, the suspension options, and inside technology. The NSX was a V6... it was priced over $70K. And again, the Porsche is a V6 and well over $70K. I don't think there are many American cars with a V6 that exceed $70K... maybe that's what you're referring to (unless its an SUV or something). Gotta think past the Z06 and other American cars when considering price.
Porshe can have cars with v6's because they have more technology. Youd have to be retarded to spend $70k on some jap crap with a v6 LOL!!!
