  1. Don;t you think? It would be so cool to have this car. On the weekends, it becomes a full blown warrior. Kudos to BMW. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

and even a killer sleeper, capable of smoking the 456gt to 60.
  3. Re: A great daily driver

This pointless prick is sending the same message to just about every car on the whole site. Is he trying to boost his status or what?

    What a total loser.
  4. Re: A great daily driver

my uncle owns one, hes made some minor engine and suspension mods to it, now it has over 450 hp and is still perfectly driveable as an every day car... but he has a brand new 7 so thats not much of an issue. i was a passenger in it for a track day earlier this year and its awesome, but its performance is best sampled in a straight line, its just too heavy to be anything more than average through corners!

    Couldn't agree anymore. Superb car.

I would rate this thread +1, but I need 100 posts to be able to do that..
  6. Re: A great daily driver

i suppose you saw one drive past you and you thought it had really sharp steering...if any of you don't know what i'm talking about see this idiot's post in the M3 forum...
  7. Re: A great daily driver

  8. Re: A great daily driver

my dad owns one, and he drives it to work every day, except for in the snow. he could not even get it out of the driveway, it ended up in our neighbors back yard! lol but it is a great car. it is so fast! he took it to a track day and it beat every thing except tube frame race cars! so far it is undefeated on the road (counting a ferrari 550)

gilrs just think its a normal bmw which would bring them anyway
  10. Re: A great daily driver

Very good, but too bad they don't have a 2004 edition. It will be good it they come out with a new one that can equal the performance of the new M3, both in acceleration and handling.
  11. Re:

I am looking at a 2000 M5 and got a CARFAX history and it said that it was imported into the US (Charleston, SC) from GUAM, of all places. Anyone know what this is all about. I would think it would have come straight from the Germany.

Pardon me for posting this here but didn't know where else to start. If there is a proper forum for me to ask this question, please kindly direct me to it.

I went to a drag race at Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake City, Utah, and saw a silver M5 in action. It evaporated everything that lined up against it, including an E46 M3 and two Mk.IV Supra Turbos. For something so basic looking, it is definitely a car to have.
