    my 88 prelude Si had 70 hp/liter close to doubling its efficiency. And that was 6-7 years before this car. Once again look at the big paragraph above this one

    **** there you again 94formula. Talking out your ass. Everyman who buys a mustang is a smart man. Why? For the simple reason they cost no where as much as a camaro or firebird and after market parts cost half as much. For instance ehaust (let me break out my catalogs) ok I got them. Who should we go with Summit Racing or Jegs. We'll go with Summit they have a little bit better prices.

    Headers:
    Mustang:BBK full length (jet hot coated)$320 (15-20 extra hp)
    Firebird: SLP engineering $490 (don't have BBK)
    should I continue
    H-pipe for stangs (we'll go offroad(that means no cats) BBK 119
    y-pipe for you I guess they don't have them in their catalog.
    Look at it this way though. I have still spent 50 less than you and gained lets say 15 extra horses.
    Lets move on to throttle bodies for you around 320 for me 190 plus another 60 for the spacer. Thats a total of 250 and another 15 hp.
    Ram air: for me 150 for you (a plastic airbox lid) 150. We're even there and I just bolted on another 15 dyno proven hp. I spent almost 850 and you spent almost 960. I gained probably close to 45 hp and you maybe 30. Is any of this clicking. If not oh well you seem to have no idea as to what in the hell you are talking about and I don't mind making an ass out of people.<!-- Signature -->

    94formula like you said its allright for people to state there opinons but if you are going to compare cars dont caompare different modles like how you campared a gt mustang to and ss or trans am those are in a higher class

    why dont you try comparing your ss or trans am to a saleen mustang

    What a shame to see and read from an owner of a Formula Firebird to put such trash. I own a 1991 Stang LX 5.0 AND a 1983 Firebird Transam and i love both cars. My Stang is the best bang for the buck and no V6 ever bet me in strayline or out-cornered me. And the Firebird is in showroom condition and has good power for an `83. So before you write trash like that please think twice, maybe your jealous because a Stang woop your ass !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I don't mind people stating thier opinions, but it is a proven fact that this year stang against the same year firebird has no chance in hell to even be compared w/ eachother. A firebird will blow the fake air scoops off a mustang. A 215 HP and a five banger against a 305 HP Six speed trans am or SS. You do the math. Upgrades to make a stang as fast will cost more than just buying a firebird w/ that much power completely stock.<!-- Signature -->

    I am sorry to brake to all those haters of a specific car, that all that matters in a car is teh size of the engine and its weight. u can easily put a twin turbo on this particular car and make into 900hp with a stock engine for 6k, u can buy this car right now for 7k. i dont know about u but 13k car which runs 10's on stock engine and tires isnt that bad. u can do even better with a camaro which has a bigger engine its just the body sucks so stangs are better in that, now if u get a vette body u get yourself a real nice ride after u stick turbo and some nos in it. and yes u can easily drive those cars on the street. and please dont go into how often engine breaks, they all break about as often if u treat them right.
    Check out the pic of one of the set ups on a 95stang, and trust me that thing will blow almost anything wich is street.<!-- Signature -->

    Man you seriously need to shut that big trap of yours. It never shuts up. Every comment you make just makes me wonder what you thought of the previous generation camaro/firebird(3rd gen)? I got news for you pal, they sucked big time. They were way slower than the mustang( http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/articles/shootout.shtml) and were the ugliest looking cars I've ever seen. With pitiful performance times and a body design that was only mediocre, THEY were the cars getting beat by V6's, not the mustangs. So before you make your stupid comments, why dont you quit acting like every mustang is shit and realize that back in the 80's and early 90's GM had a lot of work to do before the camaro could even compete with the mustang.

    Hey, does your Prelude with the 70 hp/liter have 285 lb. ft. of torque? Does Honda still even make the Prelude. NO!!!!!! (FYI=> Honda stopped making the Prelude in 2001). Why? Low sales. That's also why the RX-7, Supra, And 3000GT disappeared! NOBODY CARES ABOUT JAPANESE SPORTS CARS!!!

    i hate to burst some bubbles here, but mustangs are crap. my friend's 94 ranger leaves gt stangs off the line, and that's made by the same company! i got to close-inspect a 98 stang, and it was more like an economy car on the inside than a sports car. and don't pull out saleens for a camaro SS. that's just retarted to pull a $50k tuner mustang on a $30k stock camaro. i have tuners for your saleen anyway, blitz skyline, stillen 300gtz, either one of sgp's 300zx TT's, or how about a veilside supra?
