In a word yes. Mechanically they are extremely well engineered.

The only faults on our 528i Sport is with regards to the air-con. Some £0.20 worth of resistor or something blows, messing up the whole system. Also one of the buttons on the control panel cracked, but its run for two years fine apart from those very minor glitches.<!-- Signature -->

    Hi, I have a 325 ci
    Great car
I would definitely go with a BMW
I didn't like the CLK so I went with the 325 ci
    Metallic silver exterior
    Gray interior
    Black top
    16 inch tires
    Harmon Kardon sound system
    Automatic top
It also has one of those roll over systems in case you flipover
    5 spoke wheels
they also have one of the best cup holders,it hose four pin type objects that adjust to fit your cup
Not alot of room in back, really only meant for four people
    Great engine
So my answer to you is BMws are great cars
BMWs are very nice cars<!-- Signature -->

Yes they are very relyable, but if something does go rong it is very hard to find a good certified macanic to work on it.

Correct. BMW's are highly reliable, but if something does go wrong, the price of parts is heavy on the wallet. But hey, if you can afford an M3, you can definitely afford to pay for parts. <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"> BMW engines are very premium.<!-- Signature -->

Seriously. If you can't afford the scheduled maintainence for a car then you can't afford the car. I saw a price list of what it costs to get the oil changed and the rotors replaced on a Ferrari Enzo, and I couldn't afford the car if someone gave me one. There is one thing that takes the pain out of having to pay a little more to have your high end car serviced. That is the ass kissing you recieve when you bring your car in. It feels so nice that you forget about the bill for a brief moment.
