so whats the best hot-hatch available for sale in the US? consider track ability as well as what youd prefer for a driver. Oh, and the R32 doesnt count Focus SVT GTi 1.8T (less weight, more tuning than VR6) GTi VR6 Civic Si Matrix XR-S other cars we dont get: corolla T-Sport civic Type R Renault Clio Peugeot 206 Focus RS i think id pick a GTi...
ok, the obvious choice is gti mk4 or 5. for mw anyway. the best interior, quickest, fastest, best handlign at top sppeds, and i'd take the vr6 over 1.8t any day. if you havent driven a vr6 u just dotn understnd about the sound and power. the svt is the only other serious threat but at 15.1, leather heated seats, climat control one touch everything, it's unbeatable. sure it costs 23k but you're getting audi fit and finish with great performance. if you have nt driven one u obvisouly dont know what i'm talkign about. and out of the cars we cant get here, to import one woulc cost more than a zo6 so lets not add them in
do you say this because all of the magazine's start saying it all of the sudden the mk5 came out or is it from expierence? drive a 2004 1.8t you'll see what i mean.
You are exaggerating, it cant be that expensive i meen people in sweden have been importing old american cars for years and its not that expensive.
This is why I have a GTI VR6 & an SVT Focus. Best of both worlds. I absolutely love my SVT, and with the right tires and some expertise can compete for TTOD at just about any AutoX Of course, you are forgetting bout the Mini Cooper S, which is a serious super-car killer on a tight road.
You will have to buy at least 4 cars in order to import just one. That is if they actaully pass the required crash and emmisions testing.
Ok there must be something with the american rules that meke it expensive then, i thought the european rules were harder.
