In my mind, Colin and Burns will always be remembered for Wales 2001. Tommi and Colin should have rightfully won the championship that year, but both of them made a rookie mistake at the last minute which took them out of contention. That handed the title to Richard, who definitely didn't deserve it. Here was Colin's accident--a crash that was caused by a misunderstood pace note. Nicky told him "Five right don't cut into five left cut" but Colin got the cuts backwards and he clipped a post at the apex of the right-hander.
I wouldn't want to create a double-standard where I do it for Richard but not for Colin. Besides, his estate (eg, children) will be collecting the royalty money.
