Cady concept at pebble beach

  1. As I have not seen any reports yet I thought I would share a sneak peak of information.

Cadillac have been working on a large (larger than the DTS by about 2ft, and if going into production will be on the omega platform) convertible which is know as the Openair concept. The odd thing is that for such a massive vehicle it is getting the 3.6L V6 engine fro the CTS, mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission which is a modify variant of the transmission from the Solstice. From the transmission used we know the vehicle will be rear wheel drive. The door mechanism is suppose to be special too, the doors push out for about 6" before opening like normal doors.

Will update if I here more before the event.

that looks like a lot of fan made drawings i saw a few years ago (when poeple were trying to guess what the "7 series fighter" would be. personally think all modern caddys would look good with this theme.
