Could GM rip off the GTP anymore?

Discussion in '2002 Pontiac Bonneville G/XP' started by Keygen, Aug 10, 2002.

  1. The Pontiac Bonneville SSEi is a bang for your buck, american "luxury" car. With 240 horsepower at the flywheel, and decent amounts of torque, its gets along well but in a lamers sense fast. This car is weighted down quite a bit with all of the luxury amentities in the interior even though the connelly leather is lucious and the stabilitrack is excellent for driving in snow and rain. With the unveiling of the Bonneville G/XP, 30 horses are added along with different wheels, ground effects and other cosmetic changes. Weight reduction would make this car a 7 second 0-60 car easily, and when will GM either come out with an overhead cam engine for this sedan or an all aluminum construction. At 26Mpg this car sips fuel on the expressway, but will put you back in your seat off the line. At 35,000, this car is worth every penny.

So what the hell are you saying? "Could GM rip off the GTP anymore?"
The Bonneville G/XP is made by the same corporation, as well as the same company who makes the Grand Prix GTP.

    Not really.
THE GTP is more performance oriented with sports shocks, less luxo, and less weight.

Bonneville is more like a flagship of Pontiac. It's designed as a luxo car with high tech toys all in it =)
Now they give it more of a kick =)

I swear reading these forums I think some people do not understand a basic fact.
If you don't like the car, hit the back button and quitcherbitchin....

There is nothing wrong with this car, it's not MEANT to be a sports car, but it's not exactly a 90 bhp 4 banger either....

Hmmm...well everyone is entitled to thier opinions man. I hate to be a downer on your idea cuz I agree, but then here in Canada and US..everyone has the freedom of speech and self expression.
That means they can post whatever opinions they have here no matter if they're positive or negative.
