excellent. once I find a suitable block I'll be getting hold of you for height details and the material you want used for the surface. also paint colour if you so choose that option.
oh man I'm a number-based car fan, the only hands on I have is on a Civic B16a. I couldn't give you an informed suggestion. What do you suggest? I'd say it has to be small
define small. 350/305 chev are the most commen (ie probably cheapest) as are 302 fords. however if they're made from steel/cast iron they're also heavy. there are various aluminum options as well but again those will cost more. I do have a 3.5L Buick (ie Rover) V8 that might be shit so if that ends up the case I'll send you some photos and dimentions.
<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> 350 are a good size and high enough just to put directly on the floor / small feets
for the feet I'm just going to put some studs where the oil pan bolts go and fit a stupidly large nut on them so you can adjust for height and also be able to fit some of those felt/rubber pads on them so you don't scratch your floor.
they're slightly harder to find in my parts. for some reason every scrap yard things that because it came out of a range rover its worth at least 500 bucks.
if you can find me a block that's usable I'll do it but I'm mostly combing scrape yards/engine builders looking for non usable blocks.
