any1 play gt5?
Play FM3. Like everyone else here
i'm in for a forza 3 thing. need something other than civ 5 now, over 100 hrs played in single player mode now...
also, wife just got starcraft 2, she really wanted it for her birthday so i got it, i really have no interest though.
also damn game is how old and was still $55, wtf? (should have got it online but was a little last min)
KMart had it on sale a week after it came out for 49.99.
But yeah blame Activision.
Is it better? How does gt5 compare to other similar games?
GT5 is the better racer, FM3 is the better game.
Also Shift 2 Unleashed is pretty fun, #$%# yall haters.
So gt5 sim realism is considered pretty good then?
pretty surprised at how bad the graphics are though, but maybe it's because i'm using a rear projection 1080i tv
No, because some of the cars are trash "standard" cars and the others are premium.
All Premium cars are bought at the car dealership new or given as rewards. Where the Standard cars are bought at the used car lot and given away as rewards.
If you can't tell whats premium vs standard; the Premium cars have cockpit view and the standard does not.
like 2 months ago
maybe ill update it and play it tonight
not sure what that has to do with the post you quoted, but thanks for the tips. They'er listed in separate tabs for standard/premium cars anyway
i could use a good way to get experience points quickly to make it to lvl 40. it kinda looks like it's not gonna happen though
FM3 is pretty realistic but GT5 is better on that. However, FM3 is a more "complete" racing game and more enjoyable. You can customize your cars more than GT5 can ever think of. My cousins who have a PS3 prefer playing FM3 than GT5 because they got bored of it very quickly.
Heres a few crappy pics I took of my cars.
maybe forza 4 should oneup gt5s 1000 or whatever mostly shitty standard cars by including 10,000 cars in .jpeg form
I haven't been on enough lately, need to get a new controller battery, but count me in.
One thing that keeps me playing GT5 every now and then is that the active aero elements on the cars actually work.
I hate the premium/standard cars thing, but the premium cars look damn good, and it's fun to watch a replay with the air-brake going up and down every time you're hard on the brakes.
I think the customization is the biggest reason why I prefer FM3 to GT5
there's too much for me to customize in gt5 already, what more can you do in fm3?
sweet graphics and wings
what stopped me from playing gt5 was the grind too
i think im at level 28 and just cant be #$%#ed getting to level 30 so i can play the sebestian vettel challenge
putting bigger brakes on.
i'm almost lvl 38 but it's not just me working at it. want to get to lvl 40 so i can do the 24hr nring but it increases so slowly when you get to this point <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
it's great fun though with a properly set up wheel and all the aids turned off <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
not that i want to do 24 hours of nurburgring lol but it's holding me back from completing the game
add me to the PSN ID list: bscientst
I don't play racing games (they're lame), but I've got black ops and some other stuff.
all the graphics you see in the pics posted earlier were not already made by the game designers. they were made by regular people playing FM3. You can create virtually any design on your cars. Do you want to put #$%# you #%[email protected] on the side of the car? You sure can. Do you want to put a 7.0 liter V8 from the Z06 on a Solstice? you sure can, but it will drive like shit
