Heading back to Chicago?

  1. So I'm planning on taking leave to go back home to Chicago for a couple weeks on the 23rd to visit family but the weather there is really starting to give me second thoughts about it. The high today was apparently -13 F. Thoughts anyone?

  2. You should go back, definitely.

Then go to Binny's in South Loop and buy a bottle of lagavulin distillers edition and a bottle of kelt cognac.

Then drive to Toronto and give them to me, I'll pay you.

    Thanks.

  3. Is that a sly way of inviting me over for a drink?

  4. You see right through my ruse.

  5. It wasn't so bad

  6. It will get warmer in the coming days. Probably be in the 30's by the end of the week. Weather is unpredictable, just head over and have a good time.

  7. O'Hare is such a shit hole.

  8. I'm getting spoiled by warm weather on my Christmas break. BR and I are going back to the -52 temperatures this week. I am sad.

  9. -17f, whats that? 48 kilos? 4 liter?

  10. The wind chill was -38C a couple days ago.

  11. yeah thats cold

  12. -17F is about the same as 25/45's decimeters per millibar squared.

  13. Sweet home Chicago.

  14. I've decided I'll go back. Just have to make sure I'll bundle up properly. Also I know I mostly lurk more than I post and as a result I'm not as well known, but if any of the Chicago crew would like to meet up, I'd be willing, weather conditions permitting of course.
