  15. Runflat tires are never the right tires for fastest laps on a circuit (unless it's littered with nails). GT-R in the DR test (as well as C&D at Buttonwillow) had the slower Bridgestones. Even on the M+S Dunlops, the GT-R in the Lightning Lap article was still faster than the Corvette and comfortably ahead of the Turbo's performance from the year before.

  17. the GT2 laptime driven by Kurt Thiim was driven on a different track layout, they drive one shicane different resulting in slower laptimes.
