I Hate You Nissan

Discussion in '2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe' started by oliap, Aug 9, 2002.

  1. Yeah this is sooooo great. I have loved the Z series ever sence I was a child. I have grown up thinking about how great it was going to be to have a TwinTurbo Z. Then when I was about 15 I learned about the Skyline GT-R. I6 Pumping out limitless tuned HP to four wheels that is what I have wanted for 7 years now. Then I hear that Nissan is going to actually make a left driver skyline!!!!!! And you know what? IT'S A FREAAAKIN Z!!!!!!!!!!!!! A HIGH MODEL SLIGHTLY LONGER V6 RWD PIECE OF SHIIIIIIIIIIII...... 350Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Nissan. You can kiss my @55!!!!! I wish that you would wake the freak up and smell my balls. There is a market for performance awd turbo vehicles in the US. Don't believe me???? Ask Subaru Ask Mitsubishi. What the Hell is your problem? Is it that you want to whitewash Nissan/Infiniti with the same product? Do you Really want to turn the skyline into a rwd V6??? What the hell is your problem???

In no way is the G35 a representation of the infamous Nissian Skyline. In the year 2004, Nissians sporty cars will be in this order:
    1.Nissian Skyline GT-R
    2.Nissian 350Z
    3.Infiniti G35 Sports Coupe
    4.Infiniti G35 Sports Sedan

The "real" Skyline will hit America in 2004, yet, in my opinion it doesn't match the Skyline in Japan, as far as looks.<!-- Signature -->

there is no way possible that this would become the u.s. market skyline. unless............maybe some exec at nissan would get plastered and tell every board member in japan that the u.s. was gonna get this as their skyline

Right that's why this is called the Skyline in Japan.<!-- Signature -->

  6. God, learn something

In Japan, this is the new skyline but now they have a new division for the GTR. The GTR is now its own series, and this is just a luxury sports coupe. We'll see the skyline in america soon, so stfu already. If you wanted a skyline for 7 years, why don't you just import one. The R33s are really cheap to import, otherwise, stfu, Nissan's not gonna bend to your every want, they practically went bankrupt 2 years ago.

  7. Re: I Hate You Nissan

He's right--the Infiniti G35's true name, in Japan and Great Britain, is none other than Skyline.

Don't worry, though--Nissan is just separating the names of the Skyline and the GT-R. The Skyline will, from now on, be a RWD luxury sedan, while the GT-R continues its tradition of turbocharged, all-wheel-drive sports purity. There's talk of the GT-R being a V6 or even a V8 though, when the newly-named R35 GT-R hits the U.S. shores in 2004.

This Infiniti is a design study in what will become the GT-R--it's just getting its start now. Wait a few years--you'll see.

  8. V6 vs V8

Personally, I hope that the American skyline will have a V8 so that all the corvette zealots will stop freaking out.

I hope the US Spec skyline kicks ass. I also hope the US Spec EVO is fast and cheap.

  9. Re: I Hate You Nissan

OK well aslong as the GT-R is going to come over here I will delay my plans of sh!ting on Nissan everychance I get
Thanks for the info.<!-- Signature -->

  10. Re: I Hate You Nissan

gees man, this is not the skyline. they have made an R35 concept which is left drive. TT 3.5L V6 or 4.5L V8 pushing 400 HP, with 6 speed manual and AWD doan sound bad to me. sounds more like a dream, can't wait till it gets here. <!-- Signature -->

  11. Re: I Hate You Nissan

god damn it when r u ppl gonna learn nissan r trying to seperate the gtr from the skyline so this G35 is the skyline but the R35 is just gonna be called the gtr not skyline gtr so right now the skyline and the gtr r actually two diffrent models so stop worrying nissan hasn't lost their brains yet<!-- Signature -->

  12. Re: I Hate You Nissan

Nissan is going to some different designs. It will take some getting used to.<!-- Signature -->

  13. Re: I Hate You Nissan

The Skyline is the car model, its always been a RWD Sedan. Then there is the GT-S Skyline, a slightly hopped up version. THen the GT-R Skyline..the twin turbo AWD car. Like Lancer....then Lancer EVO.... Its not hard to grasp. This is the "base mode"....they GTR version we get will be built up from this....

  14. Re: I Hate You Nissan

my God you would think this naming of the cars is astrophysics... its really not that difficult to understand that this is what they call the base skyline RWD, but not the skyline GTR AWD... the car that is coming to the us in 2004 is the infamous "skyline" that we have been waiting for is called the "skyline" GTR... any questions?

  15. Re: I Hate You Nissan

ok lets get something striaght, not only is the 350z in the us an canada it's actully in japan too, in no way making it the us version of the skyline, since both r being made in japan

  16. Re: I Hate You Nissan

Yes..Nissan made this car just to make u hate em.. Hmm..ever think that Nissan might hate YOU?

  17. Re: I Hate You Nissan

Isnt The New Skyline My Avatar?

  18. Re: I Hate You Nissan

  20. Re:

The GT-R has not been released in the US. Nobody seems to understand that a Skyline is only a normal sedan- what everyone says of as the awesome car is the GT-R. Of course, it doesn't seem so awesome when you're in Tokyo, because you see a GT-R like 5 times an hour.

  21. Re: I Hate You Nissan

Well, this is the same as Skyline 300GT in Japan, but no, this is not GT-R.

  22. Re: I Hate You Nissan

10 cars that I THINK are good( not in order): Honda NSX, Chevrolet Corvette, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda S2000, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Honda Dualnote, Honda Odessy, Honda Integra, Acura TL.

10 cars that I think are bad: Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, Pontiac Sunfire, Dodge Viper, Ford Mustang, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Cavalier, Ford Escort, Toyota MR-2 (SW20), Dodge Neon.
    ------------------------------
Care to explain why u gave theses opinions? Why do u think the car mentioned above are good and bad? Elaborate on the term "good" if u will..

  23. Re: I Hate You Nissan

Hummmmmmmmmmmmm. It seems nissan uses the same engine in every car they make.

  24. Re: V6 vs V8

The American Skyline is the Infiniti G35. America has never gotten the GT-R version of ANY Skyline, as they do not pass American specifications.

  25. Re: I Hate You Nissan

If you knew anything about Skylines, you would know they come in more than just the "R" series.

The G35 is the American version of the regular Skyline, NOT the GT-R. In Japan, they call the G35 the Skyline.
