  1. I was at Barrett Jackson a few hours ago and I was talking to the owner of the 2008 Plymouth Cuda Concept. He says his goal in life is to bring back Plymouth. He wants to take this design and have a 4 car line up...V6 Coupe, 5.7 RT Coupe, SRT-8 Coupe, and SRT-8 Convertible. Then later come out with a new Roadrunner and Superbird. He would have them built in China so it was cheap and out of the auto unions and then sell them for a reasonable price in the US. He also said he would have Jessy James as the CEO.

I also asked him when i cost to make the Cuda concept. He said "well over a million". The car was built by Metal Crafters and is all Carbon Fiber body. Same people who built the Chip Foose Hemisphere.

To me, this guy sounds like a man with all the money in the world that can go out and do whatever he want but has not clue how big business works.
  2. I lol'd at the Jessie James part. Such a sweet looking car though.
  3. He sounds like hes on crack.
  4. Sounds like a douche
  5. China=FAIL. He could, GOD FORBID, have them made in the US by non union workers if he were ever to actually make anything happen at all... Which I doubt he will.
  6. he has PASSION
  7. You need to tell that guy that it would be cheaper to build it in mexico.
  8. It'll run on tequila.
  9. He couldn't exploit economies of scale either.
  11. and recycled corn chips
  12. For how much it sold?
  13. It isn't, because it's a concept car. I'd have thought that was obvious, given the thread title.
  14. it will be sold today at B-J
  15. Ah, well then nevermind. I must have been thinking along the lines of a production car.
  16. LOL @ built in china

LOL @ Jesse James as CEO

this guy is on crack. what a douche
  17. Lol. They spent "well over a million" making it, and it sold for like $140,000. HUGE loss.
  18. and not only cheaper ... but better built too.
  19. Where did you get that price?
  20. How was the auction? I won't be able to go this year. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
  21. Pretty cool. Nothing sold for an extremely high amount like the Futurliner or the Twin Turbo Shelby Cobra.
  22. So where did you get that price?
  23. Holy shit.
  24. I like it. If I had $40k to spent on a sport coupe and it were availble, I'd buy it.

BTW Broken, nice icon, DT r0x0r.
  25. California and Texas?
