    . . . .like a Ford Fiesta. They just didn't want to descibe it as a hatckback because they have a bad reputation in the performance stakes

    Not a real REAL coupe, but it's not a hatchback either. It is a liftback.

    they call it a hatchback anyhow. the new 93 itsn`t a hatchback anymore. i like the hatchback it made saad different ffrom the other cars...and it looked good

    Its a hatchback that holds like a wagon but doesnt have the ugly look of a wagon. Its very unique and I love mine.

    i think saab originally called the design combi coupe on the 99 and classic 900 (they a coupe looking car with the convenience of a hatch back)
