Just bought a minivan (folgers lifestyle)

  1. No, for real though... I have to drive from Toronto ON to Moose Jaw SK in september, and I'll be there for 6 months. Didn't want to smash my Marauder through a nasty prairie winter of bad roads, salt and hail storms, so I bought a winter beater!

    1995 Plymouth Voyager LE
    200K
    3.3L Trenton block
    162BHP / 194ftlb

    $1200, certified & e-tested

Fully loaded with AC, cruise control, and power windows... all of which still work! I'm gonna throw a can of fuel stabilizer in the Marauder, wax it up real good, and put it to sleep for the winter.

  2. Those used to very common here. Sold as Chrysler.

    Congrats

  3. Gross, but they're good for what they are. Congrats I guess.

  4. we did Montreal-Disney land roundtrip, 7 ppl, in there once

  5. me and 5 of my closest friends at the time drove from Toronto - Montreal - Trois Rivieres - Toronto in one of these back in 2000.

Trois Rivieres was a mistake, we went the wrong way for 2 hours.

  6. that explains all, I was about to ask <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  7. The parents of some friends of mine back in the early '90s had TWO Town & Countries. They were pretty decent at the time, I guess. It was no Aerostar though.

  8. Aerostar was the old RWD van, yes? Those kick ass. And the old Chevy Astrovans.

  9. my parents used to have a Plymouth voyager and then a Dodge Caravan.

To this day I have never been in a better van than the Dodge Caravan. Its the biggest, most spacious thing ever.

  10. I'd make fun of you, but we have the same van, but a 94, and its been excellent. The only problem we've had is the transmission had to be rebuilt around 160k miles. Its currently at 230k and still runs great.

  11. ive been seeing more and more 90s chrysler/dodge/plymouth minivans around than usual. they seem to be getting cleaner/better kept than im used to seeing them. good luck with yours

  12. somehow even these have more character then crossovers. maybe everyone is just getting bored and buying old/cheap cars

  13. aren't these what people who have given up on life buy?

anyhow you still have the cool car so I will let you off

  14. I could have gotten you a Volvo 940 for cheaper than that.

  15. what's cool about a crown vic?

  16. Nice. I love having vans just because they're infinitely practical

  17. No, I sold the Interceptor.

  18. The initial purchase may be cheaper yea, but parts for a 17 year old Chrysler are way cheaper than a 17 year old Volvo

Rotors for the van are like $15 prolly

I'd love to have a 5-speed turbo version
    Caravan that is <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

Fantastic. Get some faux wood paneling for it. Change the starter solenoids. call it a "truck". drive it like you stole it

    Also, did I hear Aerostar?

  20. Check the tranny, those Chrysler minivan had transmission problems. Also the rack and pinion and the EGR valve.

  21. I hope those were Australian dollars you paid, 1200 for a van from '95 lol

  22. goes without saying that anything made by chrysler is a hilarious piece of shit

  23. You most certainly won't be looking your best behind the wheel of that.

  24. It's a winter beater

  25. if you truly loved cars you wouldve bought a 911 C4
