in any american muscle car, yea, that is a really savage sound to enjoy. in an Evo?? thats just wrong.... Imagine Katie Holmes with Steven Tyler's voice.... <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/amazed.gif"></A>

  2. Yes, and no. Displacement = pi/4 x bore(squared) x stroke x number of cylinders. So lets say the bore is a little bigger than a smaller motor with more cylinders. The bigger bore motor can have more displacement, yet the motor with more cylinders takes up more total space. Another thing to look at is cam placement. An OHC 5.0 will take up more total space than a OHV 5.0 since the OHV hides the cam inside the block instead of on top of the heads. Now, if you're comparing a 7L motor to a 1.8L then yes its safe to assume the total space of the 7L is bigger. Also remember, when there's money, there is a way.

  3. Isn't the Evo 4-cyl transverse? I wonder what they did to get the LS in there

  4. STFU N00B

But yes, normally the EVO's engine is transverse

  5. removed the transaxle.

  6. holy shit....f.a.i.l........

  7. not as bad as your second account

  8. looks like i've learned some valuable things today... :D

  9.
  10. Is it AWD still? If not, then that was a total waste of time/money. The 4G63 is such a badass engine I don't think I'd bother, especially if you lose the AWD. If it still has AWD then it's pretty cool, even if more or less pointless.

  11. That would have been super complex if not impossible with this car.

  12. But you didn't approve of this anyway, so AWD or not makes little difference. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  13. I would bet it doesnt. LS1's dont weight that much!

  14. An EVO isnt liken to Katie Holmes looks... And second, you would mean to put it to someones power, not a voice. You dont put a LS1 in a car for its sound, lolololo

Its more like mixing a completly normal looking actress wearing sporty cloths with someone that has a lot of power.

  15. .

  16. The Golf's was at least from a VAGinal company.

  17. The rest aren't swaps either. Those companies don't design engines themselves.

  18. Those aren't engine swaps you FAGGOT

  19. EPIC FAIL

  20. HOLY SHIT WHAT A #$%#ING MORAN

  21. UGH

  22. put a couple of full width dana 60s under there and a transfercase. Might have to lift it up a little bit to clear the pan. Throw some muddeers on the #%[email protected] and call it a day <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  23. I was referring how such a savage sound can be heard from a small japanese car... even if you fitted the loudest exhaust system available for an Evo with a 4G63 engine, no way can it match the beastly roar from an American engine

fine, make it simple, its a lion's roar from a cat. how's that? small car, big sound. :p

  24. Which makes it even more of a WTF O_O tas awesum! car
