The stunning McLaren F1 LM, resplendent in its McLaren Orange livery, will be on display in the Super Car Paddock at the British International Motor Show from the 20th-30th of July. Taking place at the ExCel London exhibition centre, the British International Motor Show is the ultimate day out for anyone passionate about road cars. McLaren is pleased to support the British Motor Show with the presence of a McLaren F1 LM.

The display of the McLaren F1 LM is a unique opportunity to view the ultimate and most exclusive version of the McLaren F1. With 680 bhp and weighing some 60kg less than the F1 road car, the F1 LM is the fastest accelerating F1 of all.

The McLaren F1 LM was produced to commemorate McLaren's extraordinary feat of winning the Le Mans 24 Heure endurance race at the first attempt in 1995. A road going version of the 1995 F1 GTR, with the minimum modifications to make it usable on the road, only five LM's exist in the world - one for every F1 GTR which finished the race.

The LM runs the most powerful engine of any F1, road or race, by using an 1995 GTR engine without the air restrictors. It also features the race car aerodynamics, gearbox and 18" inch wheels. Inside the LM, the driver sits in an all carbon fibre race seat, and the passenger seats are moulded into the moncoque. With minimal trim, the interior carbon is beautifully finished in high gloss lacquer.

  10. #$%#ing awesome, this will be great. not all that often you get to see an lm on film!
  11. Someone better post it
  12. I 2nd that
  13. I love you Peloton.
  14. Erica Ferrari? Is that you...??? <A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A>

  15. With about 90% certainty, it seems the orange F1 that will be used on 5th Gear will not be an LM, but rather one of the 5 F1 GTRs that has been resprayed in Papaya Orange to match the look of the LM. Most likely this car will be #16R which is currently in the UK wearing reg plate 'M700 BHP'. The owner of that car is reported to have an Enzo as well and recently attended an event with Tiff Needel.

  16. No, lol. But, everytime I think I see the limit of your knowledge on the F1, and then, you surprise me. Except, it's not really a surprise any more. BTW, are there any Zonda F's that have been snuck into the US by your knowledge?
  17. I heard there was one Zonda F intended for Benny Caiola of New York, but I don't know if/when it will arrive. They aren't really legal here under any circumstances (including Show or Display) so getting one in is not an easy process.

  18. If you have enough money, anything is possible.
  19. the outcome is soo obvious
