My ugliest colleague

  1. His name's Unal, but we all call him Haleel, Neighbour or Kateerj (which is like, mule, in turkish). The guy next to him is Sarkan (which we call Savan because of his Izmit accent). They've been arguing for 4 consecutive weeks already at work. Notable quotes:

Savan: I brake for animals, hell, I even brake for birds, but if I see you on your moped, I'm very very sorry.

Haleel: Every kind of food is artificial nowadays
    Savan: <A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>
    Robert: <A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>
    Harry: <A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>
    Haleel: what?!

Haleel: my moped maxes out at 40 km/h
Savan: it could do 50 if you lost some #$%#ing weight

There are more hilarious ones, but I need to think of them.
  2. Savan: I'm going to make you punch me in the face
    Haleel: what for?
Savan: So Robert could get your ass fired
Robert: Just pretend I'm not here guys
  3. Robert: Did you guys go voting?
    Haleel: I voted SP
Savan: SP?! Holy shit, I should've voted for anyone to send you back to your farm in the turkish mountains
  4. haha nice
  5. They eat spleens together on the weekend.
  6. they sound like they could have their own TV sitcom
  7. they srsly should have one, subtitled, too
  8. do they speak dutch?

also lol at a young guy being the boss of some old turks
  9. Savan's dutch is fairly decent, Haleel's is pretty bad. But so is his Turkish, according to Savan. Typical for both is a complete lack of articles when speaking. I went to stadium, instead of "the stadium" for example.
  10. haha awesome. so some people who talk in english like that might actually talk like that in their own language!? that's nuts.
  11. Why is this thread so hidden? It's one of the most awesome things I've seen. Bookmarked too.
